Roz said to Nick "it was you - saying you lying bitch"

Just after we saw her delirious with Tom saying that to her.

Sorry if I'm going mad - is the suggestion that she was knocked out at Tim's.

He had gone out to buy the chainsaw.

Meanwhile hubby nick is at the door shouting you lying bitch - thinking she was having an affair?

EElisavetaOfBelsornia · 23/04/2017 22:59

Just a thought - Jamie's user name jamieDnotjamieT. Anything significant in those initials? As someone said up thread, nothing in LoD is to be ignored.

Elendon · 23/04/2017 23:00

You can leave hospital anytime you like, it's not a prison (unless you are yourself a prisoner). Roz was not on IV antibiotics as the doctor said I'll get you an antibiotic shot.

CopperRose · 23/04/2017 23:00

Love the thread titles btw 😊

CoolCarrie · 23/04/2017 23:00

DoT!

Vango · 23/04/2017 23:01

I heard 'son'!

Maybe Ifield is the one who died in "the line of duty"?

Nowdecide · 23/04/2017 23:03

Yes, onedayatatime73, I reckon you're spot on there. Husband was outside tims flat calling her a lying bitch, not the bathroom just before she passed out with arm.

QueenieGoldstein · 23/04/2017 23:03

All we need now is for Neil Morrisey to turn up!

Muddlingalongalone · 23/04/2017 23:03

Can't wait for next week now.
I sense jamienotjames has more to offer. Shocked about Maneet - maybe just maybe Ted Hastings has kept dot's tape secret because he suspects Hilton & knows what she was doing????
Might have to spend the week rewatching s1 on netflix - seems like a lifetime ago!

OutToGetYou · 23/04/2017 23:04

Loads died in S2, the two plod picking up Tommy and the witness protection woman, then the AC12 who was thrown out the window.

S1 was Gates.

S3 Denton and Dot.

Roz was in hospital three days - Kate said "she's not been in for three days" then later Steve found she was in hospital, so she had been there a few days.

I felt the same about Steve's flat. Tidier than my house. How is he carrying tea cups from the kitchen to the living room anyway? And why aren't his parents helping him?

Vicky didn't look preg on Graham Norton on Friday.

KRG13 · 23/04/2017 23:04

Ooh! I think the "it was you calling me a lying bitch" was slightly odd as well!

Not "I heard you calling me a lying bitch" which would make sense, but

"It was you"

Well who else would it be?

TheHiphopopotamus · 23/04/2017 23:04

Why hasn't anyone asked Roz how's she managed to get her arm amputated?

'Oh, I, er, scratched it on a wall and it fell off' Hmm

Nick had suspicions about it, and so did AC-12. Why has nobody joined the dots yet? If Nick could smell it, surely other people in the office did. And you're not telling me Ted & Jamie didn't notice she wasn't using that arm in the interview.

Ciaovenora · 23/04/2017 23:05

Sure, you can leave hospital at any time in her case the infection she has would not be under control without IV AB for at least a few days.
I mean, when I was admitted for cellulitis I was on IV AB for four days, discharged on the fifth day. She was half dead.

conkerpods · 23/04/2017 23:06

Thanks all. Just double checking re the amputation. I'm questioning everything!

Is there only one episode left?

AliCat36 · 23/04/2017 23:07

About Hana & Tim - when he first sees her in the cafe he looks like he definitely recognises her & expects her to recognise him. He's disappointed when she doesn't recognise/acknowledge him. There must have been some meeting between them before that. Also, what does he do with her fingerprint from the glass?

Ciaovenora · 23/04/2017 23:07

Oh, my bad Out to get I thought she was in and out in a day or so, I guess after three days she could leave.

OutToGetYou · 23/04/2017 23:07

Oh, of course - Ifield died, he was Police, yes, sorry! Ah - but was it 'in the line of duty'? They always make a thing about that. Not that Dot or Denton were in the LoD actually....

Nowdecide · 23/04/2017 23:09

TIm, KRG13, who would have murdered her (and wasnt her biggest fan). But it wasn't Tim. It was her DH. Who then murdered Tim. But why? To prevent Tim killing his DW or for less chivalrous reasons?

ktel1 · 23/04/2017 23:09

The expression on Neil's face when Roz held the morning briefing and was still insisting that Michael and Hanna were guilty despite serious doubts.

He's the only one prepared to do anything about it- all her other colleagues seem prepared to go along with the potential miscarriage of justice.

He did so with a promise of confidentiality but at least he did something.

tribpot · 23/04/2017 23:11

Just a thought - Jamie's user name jamieDnotjamieT. Anything significant in those initials?

Yes, that is odd. I mean beyond the ridiculous nature of the username at all.

LOD Series 4 Big Fellas and Wee Girls-this way, we need to look further Ifield.
OutToGetYou · 23/04/2017 23:12

Am sure she said 'outside the bathroom door' - plus if Nick had been at Tim's flat yelling through the door the neighbour they interviewed would have heard? She'd seen Nick's car.

And, why didn't Nick hang around til she came out?

KRG13 · 23/04/2017 23:12

Yes sorry, I meant who else would it be IF it happened whilst she was in the bathroom, at home, with the arm ie the way the viewers saw it portrayed

Hence the "it was you" sounding odd and therefore she could be referring to the night of the murder

peukpokicuzo · 23/04/2017 23:12

Given the extent of the wound the amputation should have been much closer to the elbow. They didn't take enough off.

TizzyDongue · 23/04/2017 23:14

And where are the Huntley children? Nick rightly suspected Ros was lying about them walking round to Claire's, but was arrested before he could make contact with them. WTF is Ros on about, Nick never seeing his children again because they're getting divorced? That doesn't even make sense

I wondered if she's going to make out he's been abusive throughout their relationship (as opposed to her - think from last week she's a long term abuser). She's doing it to punish him for trying to set up Super Secret Interview in District 9 (or whatever it was called). Have to say it was a tiny bit dense to going with Jimmy as his solicitor.

Or at least stupid of Jimmy to be the one to request it (maybe it's a bit of irony after he scoffed at Kate for trying out a rudimentary interview technique one a Super Amazingly Brillant Criminal solicitor Jimmy L.

As for the rest of it, quite obviously I have my theory, I'm just going to wait till next week and then I'll come on here and tell you all how I knew it all along. Not going to say now because, erm, well, because it'll ruin it for you and stuff.

ktel1 · 23/04/2017 23:15

I would trust the accuracy of the medical side of things as Mercurio was a doctor.
