If it's a continuity error that would be soooo bad.

Ferrisday · 27/04/2017 09:35

I'm not sure it makes that much difference.

Jamie still could have said- oh I just wrote my passwords down for IT
Or, I just wrote my password down for Maneet

CopperRose · 27/04/2017 09:43

It's written further down the post-it too - definitely not the same post-it!

(I suspect continuity error though...)

Dulra · 27/04/2017 10:13

Yeah I defo think continuity error because they are really similar and if you wanted to show they were different you would make it way easier to spot the difference so people would notice from a quick glance (and not a screen shot Grin)

Whywaitfortomorrow · 27/04/2017 10:28

Spoilers for 1-3 but I found this
interesting recap/review online. I think Series 4 is most complicated so far, with or without prior knowledge.

If I can, I'm going to try and keep away from these threads now until after Sunday as I will need something to fill the void. As long as it doesn't turn out that Roz was having an affair with Tim or Jodie, I think I can safely rely on LOD team to produce a cracking, conclusive final episode. I give myself 10 minutes Smile.

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 27/04/2017 11:02

Yes, series 4 is way more complex than 1 . 3 was very complex , though - but less so now I have seen 2 and 1(again)...

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 27/04/2017 11:02

But, of course, 1 becomes MORE complex once you have seen 4!

NotJanine · 27/04/2017 11:30

The post-its really are far too similar. I think they just didn't expect us to look so closely!

The scenes may have been filmed a long time apart and the original post-it was either lost or they just thought another one would look similar enough not to bother keeping it?

NoWordForFluffy · 27/04/2017 11:38

More fool them! 😂

bottomhangingout · 27/04/2017 11:47

Perhaps the scenes were filmed in reverse. So the Maneet post-it was written first for her scene....

ktel1 · 27/04/2017 12:04

I was re watching episode 1 when Steve questions Jade ,the girl he was accused of raping when he was 16.

When Steve arrives she asks him "what has he done now?"

I wonder if this has any relevance or if is just to illustrate that it's a rough area where people often get into trouble with the police.

Is she referring to her partner or her son?

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 27/04/2017 12:29

I mentioned that the other day ktel and the fact that the glass in her front door was broken and boarded over. I think she means her fella and that there'll be some connection somewhere with wrong uns Grin

Noword the chat about the children is just idle distraction really while we're waiting for the next episode. I'm not surprised by surly teens at all, but there's also no warmth written in to show how strong Roz's relationship is with them and the parents feelings for them, especially not as such a thing has been made of her taking 5 years out of work to devote to bringing them up. The 5 years appears to be after they would both be at school too, so the timing might be relevant to other matters is all.

Like I say it was just speculation as to what could be the back story, same as the post it note, we need to fill a week's void Grin

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 27/04/2017 12:31

ktel I was meaning to say that I watched the You Tube programme you posted when Jed Mercurio was interviewed about his writing. I was really amused that he said he doesn't have a Twitter account but he has joined forums anonymously and either given out false theories or corrected people who've got things wrong
Grin

ktel1 · 27/04/2017 13:00

Enrique- lol.

NoWordForFluffy · 27/04/2017 13:08

He absolutely MUST be on here...Google would've sent him here!

Hi, Dr M 😁

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 27/04/2017 13:17

I'm Spartacus Jed!

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 27/04/2017 13:18

I have said I suspect the whole 'what's he done now' thing was put in there for middle class Jed to show he knows what rough estates are like.

But, as I am Jed, this may or may well not be relevant or correct.

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 27/04/2017 13:19

I think he's @MarilynWhirlwindRocks
What're the odds that the series ends with distressing scenes of the Huntley children face down with their battery packs removed?

Just read back and see Beans was speculating if he reads here Hmm
now that could be a double bluff too.

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 27/04/2017 13:20

Bit like Ryan's mum is season 1. To show the shiftlessness of the underclasses (Jed is a bit of a snob)!

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 27/04/2017 13:20

evil laugh

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 27/04/2017 13:21

Beans we cross posted there. I'm ruling you out now, that's too blatant.

Ferrisday · 27/04/2017 13:37

Finished rewatching series 2- I'd forgotten all the twists and turns, brilliant.

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 27/04/2017 14:07

Enrique 'Beans' arches eyebrow.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 27/04/2017 14:15

I was thinking about series 2, there were dodgy prison guards, it has to all stretch to someone very high up pulling the strings, just not sure who....

SinisterBumFacedCat · 27/04/2017 14:19

I do wonder if Balaclava man is not one man, but a gang, as Lindsey Denton was trying to rescue that waitress girl from a horrible fate, could the new victims have been groomed by the previous gang and Hanas attack was a set up to divert attention from the Balaclava gang.
