I had totally forgotten about the vulnerable man being exploited by the evil little scrotes in season 1. That was awful.

NoWordForFluffy · 24/04/2017 19:39

If anyone is planning on downloading and re-watching before Sunday, episode 1 is labelled 'last chance'. I'm not sure when it's disappearing, but you might want to get in there ASAP to make sure you get it!

pepperpot99 · 24/04/2017 19:59

I take no chances NoWord and record every episode! then I watch most of it back straight afterwards on a Sunday, and re-watch sometime over the following weekend before the next episode Grin

still don't know what the fuck's going on though Grin

hollyisalovelyname · 24/04/2017 19:59

You'd think they'd check Roz's car/cars to see if there is any evidence against her in them.
I felt we had to suspend disbelief again this week- Roz able to discharge herself after having her arm amputated.
Last week Arnott alive after the terrible bashing and fall.
An insult to our intelligence.

Loved '... now we're sucking diesel'
Is that an expression used in the UK ?
I know we Irish use it.

MILLYmo0se · 24/04/2017 20:41

That made me laugh out loud holly, and its not often that happens while watching LOD ! My DD says it a lot

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 24/04/2017 20:42

@DubiousCredentials thanks for rewatching that, I was stunned as it just wasn't my recollection, but, you know, you doubt everything in this series

MarilynWhirlwindRocks · 24/04/2017 20:49

Adrian Dunbar interview from today's BBC Breakfast:

For anyone who missed PPs' mentions upthread:

www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b08mh7kx/breakfast-24042017

(begins @ 2hrs 43mins in)

CoolCarrie · 24/04/2017 20:53

Well, glad that I am not the only one who thinks Gates and Roz could be connected, because she spoke about family and we shouldn't just think she meant her children.

CoolCarrie · 24/04/2017 20:56

Jacki body is still missing, but there is a definite link I am sure of it.

ActuallyThatsSUPREMECommander · 24/04/2017 20:59

Can I please have a high five for being (I think?) the first person on these threads to say that the mystery of Jackie Laverty's body was going to randomly come out of the woodwork and make all the n00bs go WTF?!

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 24/04/2017 21:09

you did do that yes! Star

if you high five me back for mentioning Steve's girlfriend??

ActuallyThatsSUPREMECommander · 24/04/2017 21:11

You can totally have a return high five for that because I'd forgotten all about Steve's tedious girlfriend until I rewatched the last episode of series 3 the other day.

NorfolksGiven · 24/04/2017 21:13

I can't even remember his girlfriend Blush

FeralBeryl · 24/04/2017 21:21

Is anyone else struggling to get the times it's set over?
I'm imagining a frenetic, constant scramble to the truth - helped by the working at night etc. Then they casually throw in that Roz had been absent from work for 3 days and AC12 didn't even know. Hmm

OP posts:
TheHiphopopotamus · 24/04/2017 21:22

Yeah, but bloody hell! What's the point of fetching Steve's girlfriend back? Half the people who watched the previous series can't remember her/don't know who she is, let alone viewers who are new to Line Of Duty Confused

She's no Lindsay Denton, is she?

tribpot · 24/04/2017 21:29

Feral it seems to be happening more or less in 'real time', so yesterday's episode seemed to start on the 23rd April, although some time then elapsed. I feel a forensic rewatch coming on.

DispatchReady · 24/04/2017 21:50

Rewatched last night's - probably being thick but whose brush was it?

tribpot · 24/04/2017 21:50

So from the 'previously' clip at the start of the ep - Tim's body was discovered on 23rd March (timestamp from the video shot by forensics)

Also from 'previously', the timestamp on the video of Ros' interrogation by/of AC-12 was 18th April 2017.

The interview with Nick and AC-12 where Lakewell sort of provided an alibi was 6th April 2017.

The human remains (which turn out to be more of Leonie) were found on the 23rd April 2017.

JamieNotJames does the download of Dot's dying declaration (okay we know it was really Maneet) on 27th April 2017.

The newspapers found with Leonie's body parts were dated 28 and 29 March 2017.

When Nick is being interviewed at the end of the episode the date on the video is 1st May 2017.

buggerthebotox · 24/04/2017 21:53

thehiphop Steve's gf IS relevant, though. She was part of the squad that failed to investigate the death of a social worker who had sussed the goings on at Sands Hill care home. This is probably linked to some of the dodgy doings going on now. She dumped Steve when he was being framed as The Caddy. She's possibly implicated in a cover-up, at the very least.

lampshady · 24/04/2017 22:08

God you lot are good. I wouldn't have picked up 99% of this.

hoddtastic · 24/04/2017 22:11

has Jimmy always had the same name? Do you think he might have been Jamie T at some point? and that's why all the name/spelling stuff ahs been a theme throughout?

TheHiphopopotamus · 24/04/2017 22:15

Steve's gf IS relevant, though

I'm not disputing that. I'm just saying I wouldn't have remembered her if not for this thread Grin

Pleaseandthankyou · 24/04/2017 22:19

Loving this series and the theories. I haven't seen the other 3 series. Can anyone tell me how to watch them.

Whywaitfortomorrow · 24/04/2017 22:21

Leonie body parts found in Ep2 - do correct me if I'm wrong. But Ifield had a go at dismembering at end of Ep1. Why use that mo ? Was Baswinder also dismembered ?

Lulooo · 24/04/2017 22:34

Wow this is a fast moving thread!
Tbh, this episode confused me a bit. I needs some loose ends tying up as we go along and not have too many left to be solved at the end I feel like there's too many tabs open in my brain with little bits of info that I need to retian to be solved nearer the end.
