I've just caught up with the first three episodes, I love that the "smears, beetroot and jus" prediction fro the first page of this thread all came true immediately!

I think the Market challenge setup is a bit crap, initially I thought they'd have a limited amount of money to "spend" there and everything would have a realistic price, but no...So what's the point? It's basically an invention test but with a bit more main ingredient choice and with the "larder" shown more prominently.

I'm looking forward to the "taste and then recreate this dish that John has cooked" challenge. I hope they include it this year, it's one of my favourites.
