Did anyone else notice the weird bit in Tuesday's episode when Paige and Brennan were lying on the bed talking. It was almost as if it was an outtake that they left in. She said oh I'm huge and he said yes you are rather big, or something along those lines. It was funny and weird and just seemed to out of character for a neighbours story.

I thought that was a bit odd too - it was the way he said it as the scene changed that seem particularly strange to me!

The H&S issue with Bree giving a treatment at the hotel was unrealistic. What if she injured the client especially Tim Collins and with no supervision...as if.

Yes Linnet! It looked like they proved it and the editor liked it so kept it in but timewise cut it really abruptly to fit it in. I quite liked it other than the quick cut. Nice to see mark having a hint of personality again rather than a cardboard cut out.

My 12 yo DD got me back into watching Neighbours last year after about a 20 year break.

I was wondering if something dubious is going to go down between Finn and Xanthe at some point.

Loved Ben in his overalls...just like a mini Drew Smile.

Desperate for Jack to tear off his dog collarge again, leave the church and make a go of it with Paige. If Mark steps in there I will be seriously pissed off.

Finn will get Susan suspended pending an investigation & step up to her role himself. It's only then that his aneurysm will go leaving no-one but Elly to be in charge of the school. She'll do marvellously but once Susan is cleared after suddenly-nice Finn confesses, Susan will be back in charge & offer Elly the assistant head job. Elly will eventually, after much angsty soul-searching, turn the job down & go to some exotic place with Finn where he can rehab from the minor neurological damage he suffered during Karl's surgery.

How does Zanthe know about Finns aneurism yet, wonder Doctor sees all patients, Karl doesn't yet know?

I wonder if there setting up a teacher grooming storyline. Slightly different to the normal student teacher fling. Finn is a little too close to Zanthe and she is at the moment not interested in him in that way and has a boyfriend. But Finn has managed to get Ben out of the picture at school, so maybe.....

Dr Karl does know - and Xanthe knows because she happened to see Finn's file when she was doing work experience at the hospital. Karl knows that Xanthe knows, because he was holding the file, reading it, when Xanthe happened to see what it said, iirc.

I don't think Finn is grooming Xanthe. I think she's just really easily manipulated & he's taking advantage of that. I wouldn't put it past him to hint that he's secretly in love with her & absolutely will want to be with her once she's graduated if he thought it would help his cause. I can't see him actually engaging in a relationship with her though, mostly because I reeeeeeally don't want to! Also, I think he'd be too clever to get caught up in something that could destroy his career if discovered. At the moment he's just gathering information & twisting things but always has the back-up of "just trying to do the right thing" if he's called out on it.

He's not necessarily grooming her for a sexual relationship, but it is still completely inappropriate. The expression on Xanthe's face was very disturbing yesterday - she's besotted with him. I think he enjoys the power trip of having an adoring teenager hanging around him and under his control.

Jack standing with his hands clasped in front of him makes me want to slap him. Neighbours is making me feel very violent at the moment.
