Does the man never talk to a woman without falling in love?

Still holding out hope for RealDee, but hopes fading fast...

Why is Ellie so weirdly overinvested in Leo and Amy's "relationship". she especially seems to relish twisting the knife in Amy (by talking about Leo).

MiddleClassProblem · 24/04/2017 20:31

I just find the Sonya stuff a bit heavy. I'm not watching Eastenders. I want disastrous things to happen, their dad for a day or two and then it's time for a weird street competition.

MommaGee · 24/04/2017 22:03

Ellie is suddenly Leo's BFF.

Clawdy · 24/04/2017 22:16

Yes, Ellie should keep her nose out of it........

Mogtheanxiouscat · 25/04/2017 13:06

I was actually quite moved by that Steph and Sonya scene.

MakeItStopNeville · 25/04/2017 19:45

So, what are the odds Mark and Paige are going to get back together and live happily ever after. Then she'll die, because all new parents do in Neighbours at some point and he'll move onto Toadie's brother's sister in law. Boom! That's his storyline till 2018 sorted.

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 25/04/2017 23:25

It's true - can anyone remember any couple under 25 from Neighbours in which both partners lived after the birth of their child?

Todd and Phoebe - Todd carked it
Bridget and Declan - Bridget died
Amber and Josh - see ya Josh

Harold's granddaughter Sky (herself the product of a mother who was killed off when Sky was still v little) - she had a baby (Kerry?) did the baby's father survive? Can't remember who the dad was but I'm sure someone who either was the father or was thought to be the father died.

I can see now why the government is so keen to reduce teenage pregnancies. It's lucky Brad and Paul are around to keep the birth rate up given the level at which the teens are dropping off!

Mogtheanxiouscat · 25/04/2017 23:29

I think the father of Skye's baby was Tad? As in Tadpole. Who died, of course.

Mogtheanxiouscat · 25/04/2017 23:30

Libby and Drew....he can't have been that old when he died.

KittyMcAllister · 25/04/2017 23:33

Didn't Sky's boyfriend die of an aneurysm - just sat down after a street cricket match and passed away? I thought he was a "fish" i.e. related to the Rebecchis somehow.

I remember Toady having a massive crush on Susan Kennedy back in the day!

BusMum79 · 25/04/2017 23:58

Oliver & Carmella? Didn't they have a kid? But wasn't she also engaged to someone else who died suddenly, just as he was helping bring up the baby as his own because Oliver wasn't interested? Then I can't remember what the hell happened but have fuzzy recollections of them all leaving suddenly (as is customary on Neighbs) and sending Rebecca a video message from somewhere like Italy?
But agree, teenage / unmarried sex in Neighbours was always followed by death in the old days. Except for Lauren, who was- of course- declared infertile- before going on to have 4 children...

tobee · 26/04/2017 01:51

Des and Daphne:- "I love you, Clarky __!" Flatline...............

AGnu · 26/04/2017 02:14

It was Stingray who randomly died at a street cricket match. I liked him. I also liked Tad but I can't remember where he fitted in with everyone else.

I think it's a poor attempt at warning kids off having sex too young. Except no teenager is going to watch Neighbours & think "I can't have sex with my girlfriend - she'll get pregnant then I'll die of an undiagnosed aneurism during a cricket match!"

I think Sky had a fling with both Stingray and Dylan and got pregnant but Dylan turns out to be the dad.

MiddleClassProblem · 26/04/2017 09:25

It's a shame Steph's egg's dried up as she and Brad or Paul could have depopulated the area and shared the babies out between Sonya and Susan.

Don't remember Dylan... off to google. I liked Sky.

MiddleClassProblem · 26/04/2017 09:27

Seen Dylan and it all came flooding back.

TheNiffler · 26/04/2017 14:28

Umm, what is the 'Limber Ladybird'? We've tried google, and the closets I've got is a DS post that is basically responding to a question by saying that someone has obviously never googled it. Which does not help, cos all I get is stuff about freaking ladybirds

Fl0ellafunbags · 26/04/2017 14:43

Poor Therese, not the first victim recipient of the 🐞

Fl0ellafunbags · 26/04/2017 14:48

Was Dylan a Timmins? Cousins of the Rebecchis? Remember the clever daughter finding out she was swapped at birth and the we got annoying blind bio daughter moving in.

AGnu · 26/04/2017 17:16

Yes, I think so. Dylan, Janae, Scott (Stingray) & Brianna, I think! The annoying fake-blind girl turned up in Home & Away shortly after leaving Neighbours. It was weird watching her confidently striding around!

woodhill · 26/04/2017 19:48

Dylan had really weird eyes. Janelle was similar to Bliss, a real p taker and pushy.

TheSecretMrsFairbrother · 26/04/2017 20:53

I have nothing useful to add, but how lovely is Aaron? He's been my favourite for ages, he's a nice antidote to all the self obsessed characters Paige

MiddleClassProblem · 27/04/2017 00:00

Not seen today's but caught up with the two before. Steph and Sonya scene was sweet but I had a toddler shouting audio description on repeat "she's crying! (x14) She's sad mummy! Cuddle. Happy!"

Is the clownfish girl going to be something significant with Finn? I thought him saying he liked a challenge might be poignant. But then I thought Ellie's headaches and weird ex giving her money would be too...

tobee · 27/04/2017 00:29

I wish Finn's aneurism would hurry up and explode.
