Hope OP of Thread 1, southeastdweller, doesn't mind me starting this, but MNers are enjoying it too much to abandon the analysis just yet Wink

On you go, people...

Are there hordes of hot architects and psychotherapists roaming the streets pausing only to return to their gorgeously designed open planned houses for a latte? Grin

I was confused for ages and thought the sister was also the PA at the architects firm because they were both blonde Blush

Also that "She's not a job, she's my child" line at the end was well smug (fortunately it was delivered to Vernon, who is a twat so who cares what he cops). I'd think anyone who said that was chippy and tedious, rather than the saintly reformed person that the writer was seemingly trying to invoke.

Haha, just finished watching it -as if, what a load of shite. This is the kind of crap that makes men think we're mental.

I'm sure the actress who played Georgia is thrilled with her BBC debut. What a completely pointless character. My reaction was "eh?"

MrsJayy sadly that is a definite naw Grin Not unless my scabby old puffa jacket and bag full of reduced crap from Sainsbury's on Woodlands Rd sounds hot. And grubby trainers at the mo as I decked it at work in my heels yesterday and as I'm pregnant think the heels need to go away for now...

I want all of Ellen's wardrobe!
I need to see stills of every outfit that I can save.

I thought it was reAlly good, a bit different. Maybe hot wiring the car was unlikely but the acting was good, Paula was believably evil.
Not sure about the end - had Ellen got together with David?

So, career woman deserves to die, bereaved mother of course goes nuts AND dangerous with it, and ambitious mother finally sees error of her ways and devotes herself to her darling child.

FFS.

I feel used. Could've watched some Blacklist instead - at least the cliches there are not misogynistic nonsense.

Oh, but liked the fashion and the architecture of the library.

Anybody know where that building actually is?

What a disappointment. So many loose ends and felt like it'd all been compacted into one episode with half the scenes missing! Actually annoyed I've wasted my time watching all 3 episodes. The 3rd was diabolical. Boooo Sad

Great to see the better side of Glasgow rather than the bleaker parts/people usually portrayed. I thought the park was Botanic Gardens possibly. Don't remember it teeming with "hot architects" though Grin

I was totally confused at the end. Ellen breaks out of car, drives to library after all those pills, then they arrest Paula. How, why, no fucking follow up at all. How enfuriating. Or did I miss something?

Yes Maxine peak!

In my defence I just showed dh the scene were Paula admits carys is dead and he said he did recognise her and she was northern but he couldn't get it...

I definitely saw the botanical gardens in it.
