Previous Homeland thread - new thread for the sake of inter-episode tidiness.

Wasn't that when Javadi killed his ex wife and daughter in law?

Welshcake77 · 28/03/2017 07:17

They were on to him weren't they but got there too late

ZilphasHatpin · 28/03/2017 08:50

Yes!! That's right it was javadi!! How did I forget that??

Yes they were watching him and trying to work out who he was meeting in that house and only realised too late who it was. I think his ex wife had sold him out or something years earlier and he was getting revenge.

Welshcake77 · 28/03/2017 09:21

Yes she did. So much has happened in six seasons it's a good job there's so many of us on this thread, someone will always remember something Grin

ZilphasHatpin · 28/03/2017 09:31

The homeland data centre is here on this thread Grin

Knifegrinder · 28/03/2017 10:12

Well, for all we know, there's only about two of us on here, and the rest are all sockpuppets of those two, fulminating theories about Saul being evil and Brodie possibly returning from the dead. Grin Maybe he could bring the hot bearded doctor with him if he does. Or the whole battalion. Or could the dishy Pakistani army officer played by Raza Jaffrey in season 4 come to the US for something? (Did he get killed?)

What about Otto During? There must be some reason why the writers re-introduced him at the first episode, carefully had him say he was seeing someone, and then not a whisper of him since... Is he the PE's boyfriend???

Also, I was for some reason reading the Wiki entry on the Iranian actress who played Fara, and according to it, she used to be a Scientologist, had a relationship with Tom Cruise and was vetted to be his wife by the Scientology hierarchy but not selected. Hmm

HalleLouja · 28/03/2017 10:36

Knife that is a scary thought we are all sock puppets probably. I think Otto was in the first episode to explain who was funding the organisation that Carrie was working for. I am not sure he will be back.

I liked undercover Chandler and his time off for M + M.

TheSpottedZebra · 28/03/2017 10:39

Knife that is (appara) true re Fara actress. And he demanded that her teeth be fixed to his liking, hen she was thrown off the widely path by the Head Honcho of Scientology when she wasn't deferential enough. Lucky escape, Fara. Stick with Max Bing.

Hassled · 28/03/2017 10:40

I can confirm that I am Angry Dodgy Accent Man's sock puppet.

I'd completely forgotten about Javadi killing the wife - there was quite a bloodfest, wasn't there? How did I manage to forget that? Sock puppet training isn't what it used to be.

Hello ladies. I am a long time lurker.
Don't be fooled by my username it is wrong, must be a glitch in the system.

I just want to say I agree with the posters who say Saul is Bad. They are intelligent and very probably beautiful.

Fiderer · 28/03/2017 11:42

Haven't quite caught up but - Cocolepew you just made me laugh. Shite day, so thank you. You beautiful intelligent person.

Fiderer · 28/03/2017 11:44

You are, however, wrong about the Goodness that is Saul.

Always were, always will be (how many Homeland threads have we had?)

HalleLouja · 28/03/2017 11:54

Saul is good and Dar is bad. Though Dar loves Peter as did we when he used to take his top off more.

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 28/03/2017 12:03

Beautiful intelligent person reporting in.

Cocolepew · 28/03/2017 12:08

Sockpuppeting is much harder than I first thought Hmm.
At least you can say I've been consistent. Saul is playing the long game.

The SIB (saul is bad, natch) team will be victorious.
Hope your day improves Fid CakeGin

DH and I had a conversation about whether Quinn had actually changed his clothes at all since he left the hospital with Carrie.

We saw him get into the shower once, but not actually take a shower. DH thought it might be a slightly different grey sweatshirt.

We both agreed that if those black boxers he was wearing when he woke up at the lake house had been in situ for weeks, then Astrid was even more heroic than we know her to be about facing down mortal danger when she ran in and grappled him back to bed.

If he leaves killing Woolly Hat Man for a few more days, he probably doesn't need his big bag of guns. He could just stand next to him in a lift for a bit and asphyxiate him...

Cocolepew · 28/03/2017 12:25

Good thinking Knife Grin

Carrie, Quinn, Saul and Dar too.
Welshcake77 · 28/03/2017 17:38

Zilpha "The homeland data centre" this needs to be the next thread title!

Kinraddie · 28/03/2017 18:10

Saul is good, Brody is dead. Carrie watched him hang. There is no way back for him. Feel as if this series has just started to get going, enjoying it now!

Fiderer · 28/03/2017 18:28

I'd happily watch a Saul & Max spin off.

No Carrie. No Dar - the Ming the Merciless ref ^^ made me laugh.

ZilphasHatpin · 28/03/2017 18:31

the Ming the Merciless ref ^^ made me laugh.

Me too! He really is like him! Grin

A Saul and max spin off would be good. Running joke of the series would be Saul forgetting who max was every episode. "aren't you that guy from friends?" Grin

PickleSarnie · 28/03/2017 18:53

It's uncanny....

Carrie, Quinn, Saul and Dar too.
ZilphasHatpin · 28/03/2017 19:02
Grin
Cocolepew · 28/03/2017 19:19
Grin He also reminds me of Jarfar from Aladdin, even the name us similar(ish) Dar isn't such a snappy dresser though.
Carrie, Quinn, Saul and Dar too.
ZilphasHatpin · 28/03/2017 19:20

Oooh he is like jafar!
