Why did Trish say she was so happy at the party just after the flashback hugging Cath? Call me crazy but I think those two are lovers. Could Trish sleeping with Will be part of a plan they've hatched? Maybe to end the marriage but make him accountable? It's interesting that Cath shopped him in. Could this be a set up?

Sure they said RTR (Rapey the Rapist, URGH) had been out for 10 weeks.

Questions I still have:

• why did Trish and her husband split up? I think we're supposed to infer it's because of the girlfriend but it could have been something else

• why is the shop owner getting on everyone's tits so much? No-one really starts a fight about shift patterns.

• who was in the porn the boys were watching? SURELY if it was someone older they'd be laughing at it being "gross" not staring reverently, but who knows.

I thought an important fact was that trish's ex knew the other suspect (was it the taxi driver?) from teaching him.

I thought DT's daughter was needing a friend because she was in the video being passed round at school.

I also still think Trish may be a sex worker. Cath's Husband, when being questioned said 'but she's...' And then didn't elaborate.

I think Chloe thought she needed a friend as somethings being said or passed round at school- video, snap chat, something similar. They know but we don't yet. The way she said 'you're new' as if she doesn't really understand how things 'work' in broadchurch?

I'm nearly sure that when trish was walking through the party there was a child there dancing, either that or a very small woman! So perhaps rules out the sex party?

So Jim slept with trish, I think Kath knew something but doesn't know it's trish. The comment he made about 'I don't need to rape her because i could have sex with her whenever I want anyway' was horrible and suggests he's been using her/treating her as a trophy. Perhaps there's more to Kath/trish's relationship and Jim is jealous so is using trish's need for some companionship to break up their friendship?

I think her being a sex worker would make a lot of sense. Single mum, variable shifts, lots of horny men about. Would make what Jim said SLIGHTLY more comprehensible. And would also make more sense of the bit I don't get. If you're tempted to shag your best mate's husband just for the sake of sex (ie could be anyone in a way) you just DON'T do it for the first time on the morning of her birthday when you know you'll see them together later. Surely? So if it was work for her it'd add up. Any thoughts?

Here's who's who (I think):

Taxi man (Lucas-Clive) lives with curly wife and stepson. Has brown eyes IIRC, shifty but not outright brazen.

Twine boy, Leo, is also the computer wiper and is the one who was at school taught by ex-husband. Has blue or light eyes, a little shit or something OC said. Really thinks he's it.

Taxi man has a step son with the timid lady who talked to vicar.

Fishing shop man is young and cocktails and talked to miller about the goal nets.

I think they just look too alike for me.

I don't think they look alike at all taxi man isn't white for a start!
