BookABooSue · 01/03/2017 08:32

It's on Google Play but sadly only the second series is half price.

hollyisalovelyname · 01/03/2017 10:36

The ending- was it the wood or the victim's garden?
I thought it was the wood.
I thought there was a policeman in high viz ???

oldmum22 · 01/03/2017 11:39

I loved it . Especially liked the empathy shown at the rape suite and the tagging and bagging of evidence ,very realistic. Hayley (Corrie actress) knows a lot more than she is letting on. I think she feels a certain loyalty to not disclose his details BUT I don't think it was Sarah Parrish husband-too obvious. Cant wait for next week and I am loving the scenery .

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/03/2017 16:37

On planner. Need to try and watch tonight. Havnt rift so I don't ruin it for myself

hollyisalovelyname · 01/03/2017 16:37

Can anyone answer my question please ?

BookABooSue · 01/03/2017 16:57

holly I thought it was the wood.
It did show someone in a high vis police jacket but it wasn't clear if (a) it was a real policeman (b) if the hand picking up the bag belonged to the same person wearing the high vis

NapQueen · 01/03/2017 18:00

I think im going to binge watch series one again. Should get through it this week.

Motherwithflaws · 01/03/2017 19:07

I thought that the police were searching the area near the water and blue glove man was elsewhere. I think that Mechanic bloke did shag someone at the party and the torn condom wrapper was from him. But poor Hayley was raped in the other area.

colouringinagain · 01/03/2017 19:27

Mmm I fancy watching s1 again... Is it in Netflix or amazon prime?

mizu · 01/03/2017 20:45

I haven't watched either previous series. Can I watch this one without feeling like I've missed something?

AnyFucker · 01/03/2017 20:46

Yes

mizu · 01/03/2017 20:54

Thanks.

darksideofthemooncup · 01/03/2017 21:32

I have a theory. I think it was a swingers/dogging party which is why Trish was so reluctant to tell them where she was, ( obviously went very very wrong for her) Ellie's reaction at there being 50+ men attending and the comdons in the glovebox seem to point to nefarious going on

Awks · 01/03/2017 21:36

Bloody hell that was a tough watch. Those big paper bags and the sellotape made my heart pump. Great acting though. It will be the vicar been saying that for the last 2 series

KittyOShea · 01/03/2017 21:39

I've just watched this after recording it the other night. Such a difficult watch. What I love about Broadchurch is its focus on the effects on the victims. The first 15 minutes of this episode were harrowing- exactly the way rape and its aftermath should be seen. I watched with tears in my eyes the whole time. Series 1 was the same- Beth running down to the beach had me in tears and I watched it in a plane.

Olivia Coleman and Julie H were tremendous. I never got the whole David Tennant worship before this but he is excellent.

There's definitely something off with Cath and her husband but I agree the condoms are a red herring.

KittyOShea · 01/03/2017 21:40

Also I thought it was a policeman lifting the bag as we had seen him in high vis and uniform type boots earlier but maybe that's what they want us to think...

hollyisalovelyname · 01/03/2017 21:45

I think it may have been a swingers party.
Did Hayley at one stage wonder what she would say to her daughter?
I remember thinking if it was one of my dds they'd put their arms around me and be so loving.

user1487175389 · 01/03/2017 22:57

Just watched this.

I'm guessing the aim is to give people a more realistic view of how victims of sexual violence are (or rather should be) taken through the criminal justice system. Thought it was extremely hard to watch.

And on the lighter side of things I find myself wondering as ever with Broad church, whether I love Olivia Colman or David Tennant more. No, I can't choose.

NapQueen · 01/03/2017 23:05

Always OC

PacificDogwod · 02/03/2017 15:01

It will be the vicar been saying that for the last 2 series

Me too Grin

troodiedoo · 02/03/2017 15:41

Yeah that vicar always looks shifty af

WigglyWooWorm · 02/03/2017 16:42

What's af?

cloudchasing · 02/03/2017 17:14

As Fuck Wiggly

AnyFucker · 02/03/2017 17:16

Anybody watching Prime Suspect 1973 tonight ?

KittyOShea · 02/03/2017 17:18

What time is it on? I never saw any of the originals but I do like detective series set in the past like cosy Endeavour
