Very wet here in New Zealand today, I guess that is Sping for you.

It's not great weather for me either TRish in the north west of England. Since the end of August we have had over four inches of rain.

So excited about news of OG 3 didn't look at previous posts!!!

Seems to be saying an unspecified time/date between 7 and 13 October?! That's soon - would have thought they would know specifics by now?

Will have to work on other half - he happily watched S1 but wasn't very keen on the last one. Somehow have to persuade him it's a must-see!

Good to see news of S3 but a bit odd that BBC not knowing (or saying?) a date and time, with only 2 weeks to go. Does that mean it's going to be shoved somewhere obscure where there happens to be a free slot, rather than the big fanfare of S2? Even more worrying, "Captain"James?? For someone who was meant to be a high flier in S1, and who is now in his early 30s (oh, to be that age again ) shouldn't he be a MAJOR by now?

I'm wondering if it might be on a Tuesday evening as Dr Foster finishes on the 3rd of October so there might be a blank spot there. Not the best evening for me if it is but there you go!

Interesting storyline. I'm wondering, however, why Georgie would be mentoring a new recruit to Two Section? The story says they've already met before in Syria so presumably she's not 'new' to the army although I suppose she could be new to being a medic. You see I'm off already conjecturing etc. I assume/hope all will be explained. Ditto to the rank question Kazza although I'm sure I saw somewhere that it could take up to 8 years to make the rank of Major and I suppose CJ might have done his earlier tours in Afghan as a Lieutenant so perhaps early thirties is about right - cor maybe he gets promotion in this series??

As for Georgie getting close to another chap in this series I have a feeling that Elvis will show up at some point and be just the teeniest bit jealous. Oh goodness, won't be long. I am however, a little bit worried about the lack of a trailer given the fact it's not very long. I suppose they are working flat out to meet the deadlines.

Just popping back in and entirely off subject but would anyone like a little SCD chat tomorrow - not a full scale, ninety miles an hour watchalong but a bit of company and the odd comment? In my case that probably is a very odd comment. I know there's a proper thread on here but they just move along way too fast for me. I have to watch it by myself so it's nice to know what others think.

Coincidentally I'm watching the launch show now on iplayer, Rhu, warming up for the real start of SCD this weekend. I won't be able to watch live though this week or next as I'm out both Saturdays. I hate having things to go to on SCD Saturdays!
