Wow! Thanks pixie and ice. That's a turn up for the books. To go from five episodes where the last one (both series) was too rushed to more than double is quite something.

This suggests that it will be split into 3 separate showings, first one shown later this year.

Thanks Ice again for your info not sure what the other poster is getting at. ' I am a tad worried'! about the mention of 'life changing' injuries please Tony don't let it be one of our LADS I am not sure he would dare return to the country if that happened. If they are wanting to do other things it is only 8 months!! And lots more publicity

Good to know, last announcement from BBC clearly stated 10 episodes....

Seeing as it's a press release from BBC and all TV sites are doing articles seems like it is a grand announcement. And judging by reactions across social media fans are treating it as so too.

Nice Intel. It sounds interesting and more ambitious. Nice to hear there will be more stretching into next year. I wonder if it will feel different to the other series. I also hope we get to know the characters better. I'm not sorry there's no mention of Dr Boring this time. I hope it's more drama and less melodrama and definitely no weddings!

Oh p.s. ilove I wouldn't waste my money on voting in Eurovision let alone paying good money to go there. A glass of and MN will do me.

I'm with you Rhu - as in not sorry Dr Dull and Boring isn't in it this time. I know Elvis/Luke isn't to everyone's taste but he floats my boat, maybe not as well as CJ does, but I'm not complaining.

Yes, I can certainly cope with a bit more Elvis, ilove. It will be interesting to see how they play the relationship between him and Georgie going forward. Even if there isn't any full-on 'romance' as such I think the spark will always be there. I'd be amazed if it didn't manifest itself just a little now and then for our entertainment.

I'm looking forward to seeing LP again as Elvis too. Obv you know who is our fave but he is definitely one to watch.

I meant to ask Rhu if the sound bar has made a great improvement in watching Tv?

I quite like the interaction with MK and Elvis, MK not taking any of his crap, and the friendship of CJ and Elvis, actually. Just hope the boys' banter is back, and with better lines that's in S2 .... Come on TG you rocked for S1!! Im not really excited about S3 yet, after the disappointment of S2, just looking forward to it, if that makes sense!!

ice the sound bar has made quite a difference. I haven't needed the subtitles since we installed it which was a fairly regular occurrence with most programmes. Interestingly, however, I caught a little bit of the BAFTA's on Sunday and when they showed the clip of Sarah Lancashire in Happy Valley I couldn't make it all out, so I reckon there was still something wrong with the sound recording on that programme.

There was huge amount of mumbling on there rhu. I find Sarah Lancashire mumbles a lot in her acting, yet away from it she speaks very clearly. Rather odd

Drat! I thought LP was just for me and Rhu and maybe Rich - wasn't banking on sharing him out any further.

I wonder if Elvis/LP is in all the series, or just some of it?

Agree with Nickel that Two Section generally didn't have great lines/parts in the last series, apart from Fingers and even his role wasn't fantastic.

He's still in UK ilove but the cast photo from the other week was for the first 2 episodes so must be involved in first mission somehow.

Thanks for the intel ice, good to know what's coming! I really really hope they recapture the feel of series 1 with the scenery and soundtrack, S2 was such a disappointment in that regard.

He's not hiding here with me ice but I'd be happy to give him a bed for the night!
