It's in the stories at the top of your home page. They're short videos that delete after 24 hrs. Both have put them on today from Capetown

It's still cloudy and freezing here ilove, not the weather for attracting CJ away from Cape Town. Got my order through from Sarah Raven today, all plug plants. Do you think they'll survive until the weekend tucked up in their boxes or should I get them out?

kazzaD66 · 09/05/2017 21:10

Thanks ice that probably explains it. I'm not a member of instagram or twitter (I've only just joined FB!) so don't have a homepage on which to see these videos.

icemist · 09/05/2017 21:35

Si's video is on the Our Girl Army pages on Instagram and twitter Wink

Ilovelblue · 09/05/2017 23:02

pixie shame we can't lure CJ away from South Africa. I'm sure we could keep him warm.

Re your plug plants: I would open the box but leave them in their individual plugs for a few days till the weather warms up. I think the nights are supposed to be quite cold for a few more days yet.

pixieg1rl · 10/05/2017 08:21

Thanks ilove. Boxes have been opened and plants propped upright. Of course today is the first sunny day in a week and now I'll be worried that they'll dry out. It's still so cold overnight I might have to pot them on and put up the mini greenhouse for them.

Ilovelblue · 10/05/2017 08:43

Truly surprised we are having the best of the weather up here as the north west isn't renowned for it being dry and sunny. It was 20 C at the bottom of my garden yesterday (though it is very sheltered down there). Paid for it though as it was frosty at 6.30 this morning! We've only had about 4 days where it's rained since I finished work.

kazzaD66 · 10/05/2017 18:03

Don't know if anyone else saw it, but I was just flicking through the BBC website and there is a news story about a prankster leaving a pineapple on a table in an art gallery and it was assumed it was an artwork. Obviously, it made me think of a certain someone GrinBlush

Nickel45 · 11/05/2017 09:20

So, looks like filming starts in SA today ... 😀😀

It's getting exciting now Nickel!

Liked that story kazza. Did I see that tbere's to be a new series of Fleabag? Wonder if BA will be in it again?

My wisteria is just coming out. Need to make the most of it before we get heavy rain tomorrow. The weather had to break sometime.

ilove your garden pictures are stunning. You would laugh if you saw my wisteria, it's about the size of my hand! I bought it from the chuck out section in my local garden centre last year. We have had such horrid cold weather, yesterday was ok but ended with rain.

I'm enjoying the little snippets of OG3 news via Instagram and twitter, just keeping us dangling!

MaddieMoo82 · 12/05/2017 08:23

Morning all! Sorry for being rubbish and not posting, RL has been rather manic recently! We have been off work this week as DS turned 2 on Sunday. Even though we have been off I feel knackered! Day trips with small people aren't easy. DS is having his first ever sleepover tonight which I feel a bit strange about and probably won't be able to sleep all night even though I can for the first time in 2 yrs!!
Like rich I'm enjoying the OG3 photos which have been dropped through social media, not enough of a certain captain though!
That wisteria is lovely ilove!

YorksOAP
Hi everyone I've not posted for a while everything quiet here had some lovely weather but seems to be going downhill now. Nothing much on telly fed up of cooking programmes so have just watched the first OG molly doing the basic training ages since I watched it, really was great and worth getting the DVD If still available as it must be very cheap by now
Have a good weekend all Smile Flowers

Ilovelblue · 12/05/2017 23:47

Evening

I am proud of the wisteria Rich and Maddie. It's not yet in full flower so I will no doubt show another photo when it's at its best. It was 15 years before it flowered and the only reason I hadn't thrown it out was because the roots were too deep to dig it all out!

Had a lovely day in Manchester with my best friend who helped me eat my way through the remainder of the Jamie Oliver vouchers from my leaving gift at work and then I blew the Selfridges' vouchers on some Jo Malone perfume so there was definitely that feel-good factor of a retail therapy day.

ice we caught the train at Deansgate to come home and as we were heading towards Salford I caught sight of a bridge over the canal which reminded me very much of the scene in OG where Georgie is with Dr Dull and Boring to tell him she's going out to Kenya. Could that have been where it was filmed, would you know?

Ilovelblue · 12/05/2017 23:49

Yorks we've had some quite heavy rain today (it poured down in Manchester) and I do hope this lovely weather for the past couple of weeks hasn't been summer! The gardens badly needed rain though so I won't complain.

icemist · 13/05/2017 06:47

It was ilove His apartment was also filmed there too Smile

Ilovelblue · 13/05/2017 09:44

Damn, I wish I'd taken a bit more notice now. We normally use Victoria station so I wasn't too familiar with the area and for once wasn't thinking of OG.

icemist · 13/05/2017 11:35

They filmed quite a bit round there Ilove

We will have to do a meet up and visit the places they filmed in

Rhubarb01 · 13/05/2017 20:05

Evening all! Just popping in as, guess what, it's Eurovision time! Having invested in a sound bar for our TV because of all the 'mumbling' we can now enjoy this spectacle with greatly enhanced sound - we might regret this after about half an hour. I have to say that Moldova are my favourites - they've got the dance, the catchy hook, three women in bridal gowns and a man with a sax - you can't ask for much more!

Ilovelblue · 13/05/2017 20:32

I was thinking of you earlier Rhu as I remembered you are a Eurovision fan.

I did smile when I watched the beginning of it from Kiev. I remembered Elvis in the prequel saying he was being posted to the Ukraine and then when Dr Dull and Boring comes face to face with Elvis in the café in episode 4 and asks what the breakfast is like, Elvis says "Best Polish breakfast this side of Kiev". I muttered at the time that Kiev is in Ukraine, not Poland.

Rhubarb01 · 13/05/2017 21:38

Just popping back from the Eurovision thread. Funnily enough ilove the Australian singer looks like Luke Pasqualino...when he was 17!

Time to go it's the yodelling rappers!

pixieg1rl · 13/05/2017 22:47

The yodelling got my vote Rhu. Pure Eurovision fodder.

Rhubarb01 · 14/05/2017 00:06

pix there was absolute Eurovision gold in there tonight what with dancing gorillas, a man in the moon, a singing duo on a hovercraft and don't forget the streaker. I have to say, however, that the Croatian who duetted with himself was high up on my list of favourites. There were also a lot of people hoping for a treadmill misfunction for the smarmy, smug Swedish entry. As for the actual Portugese winner - I honestly haven't got the foggiest what it was about or what to make of it apart from saying I've been to Lisbon several times and it's lovely.

Ilovelblue · 14/05/2017 23:24

Are you going to go to Lisbon next year then Rhu. A bit easier to get to than Kiev I guess!!

I saw a bit of the BAFTAs tonight though I get pretty bored by it all eventually. However, it was nice to see that Fleabag got an award. I was hoping they'd show one of the clips with BA in but no such luck.

Hope everyone has had a nice weekend.
