Waiting for the results is the hardest part I always think.

My DH has had a few 'bad' looking ones checked in the past but luckily all ok so I hope the same for you. I know what its like I had a lumpectomy 11 years ago and still keep fingers crossed!! Hope your mum is coping with her treatment as well I am sure you know we're all thinking of you

I am fairly sure I am the 'granny' on the site and in the CJ/BA fan club but I do enjoy reading all the news from you all
Just wish I had a bit more tech knowledge. I don't even know how to get onto or into the Aldridge army
Have a good weekend everyone DD here so it will be all go!

kazzaD66 · 28/04/2017 10:39

yorks to see the Aldridge Army twitter feed, just type aldridge army twitter into Google (or whatever search engine you use) and it will come up. Go into it from there and you can access their instagram account from the top of their page aswell. You don't need to have a twitter or instagram account yourself to go in and just view. Hope you find it Smile

Thanks Ice I needed that! Not been back long from trip to Leeds with DD now feel like great granny!! Not only my feet but disappointed as everything looked too young or slim fitting for me especially with a size 8/10 companion. But had a lovely time as I don't see her very often

Bens instagram account just now and guess what was on there the pic you sent me. Will keep me occupied tonight through the snooker reading back through the posts.

icemist · 29/04/2017 18:25

Oh great yorks you will be able to keep an eye on him now

pixieg1rl · 29/04/2017 19:46

Nice to see some photos coming out, they all seem to be enjoying Nepal.

Day of gardening here. I was feeling a bit PMTish so I got carried away with trimming a hedge and cut most of it down. Satisfying, but lots of tidying up to do.

Ilovelblue · 29/04/2017 21:01

It's great to see the photos isn't it pixie? Liked your Ops Tent post too.

Did you have electric hedge clippers pixie? Once you get going, it's not always easy to know when to stop! I hate doing all the clearing up though and like to pick a breezy day so that some of it blows way down the road! Mine is a beech hedge and it does get some sticky whitefly type things on the leaves and is a nuisance to sweep up.

I'm doing a car boot sale tomorrow so spent the afternoon getting all the rubbish together. I've lots of plants as well to sell and they needed labelling up which is a laborious job.

Did I read somewhere that it's not just Nepal and South Africa as well but a third place was mentioned - just can't remember the other location.

pixieg1rl · 29/04/2017 21:46

Malaysia, ilove. I'm intrigued as to TG's storyline.

Good luck with the car boot. I've got to get my arse into gear and get rid of some stuff this year. We're drowning in crap we don't need.

Ilovelblue · 29/04/2017 22:02

I've not done a car boot sale for years - I started doing eBay about 8 years ago and any so-called crap has been sold that way rather than a car boot. I've forgotten the effort involved getting it all boxed up etc. The friend I am doing it with is normally a very neat and tidy individual but come car boot time, she just heaps her stuff anywhere and everywhere..... including over my stall!

Of course it was Malaysia, my memory is going I think. Thanks for that.

Nickel45 · 29/04/2017 22:14

I think they are only in Nepal for a couple of weeks, aren't they? Guess they'll be in Malaysia next .. isn't that the same side of the world? (Completely hopeless at world geography!!!). Looking forward to seeing what happens, and hoping not too much is filmed in Manchester with GLs family. Wonder if it will be obvious what was written by TG and what has come from other writers.

icemist · 29/04/2017 22:45

Will be interesting to see from the snippet of info released on the storyline, how it develops.

Can't wait for them to film in Manchester again. I'll be on full alert again

Ilovelblue · 30/04/2017 06:49

I could have been an extra on the scenes they filmed on the beach in Fleetwood! Must admit that her mother in particular irritated me with some of her sickly sayings. 'With God's pencil.......' but enjoyed trying to work out where some of the Manchester scenes were filmed.

Off to my car boot sale now!

Ilovelblue · 30/04/2017 06:52

PS Are there other writers as well as TG Nickel? I wonder if there's any inspiration from our great ff writers?

Nickel45 · 30/04/2017 19:01

I'm sure I read it somewhere ilove? I so wish he'd take inspiration from some of Jens WinkGrin

Ilovelblue · 30/04/2017 19:40

Oh yes and they woukd be X rated then! I PMd you earlier in the week on FB. Did you see it?

Ilovelblue · 30/04/2017 19:40

would

Ilovelblue · 01/05/2017 17:01

It's quiet on here today? Is everyone enjoying the bank holiday?

Alwaysfrank · 01/05/2017 17:47

Not exactly enjoying the bank holiday ilove. We have the pest control people in tomorrow to try and beat the moths once and for all. I've spent the weekend emptying the loft and 3 big cupboards into a storage unit, and ripping out the carpet from there. Then we've had to pull out all the furniture from the edge of rooms, hoovering and cleaning behind.

It's a lot of work, and not fun at all but got to be done!

Ilovelblue · 01/05/2017 22:01

Always that is most unpleasant and I think you said it was costing an arm and a leg. Not exactly the most interesting way to spend your money. Hope it all works tomorrow - and then you'll have the hassle of putting everything back again.

Been quite sunny here today though a bit windy still and have enjoyed messing around in the garden and greenhouse getting my pots etc ready for the summer.

Alwaysfrank · 02/05/2017 22:54

Not an arm and a leg as I went with a much more reasonable quote. I was ridiculously proud that the man said I had done fantastic preparation work! We just need to put the house back together and hope that it gets rid of the buggers once and for all. If nothing else we have had a massive clear out and my house is cleaner than it has ever been, which feels good!

Ilovelblue · 03/05/2017 10:13

Gold star award Frank! Let's hope it works and the moths are no more.

Lovely day here. It got up to 19 degrees yesterday and supposed to be similar today in sheltered spots.

Had a lovely lunch yesterday overlooking Morecambe Bay. A pity the town itself is so down at heel though. Definitely seen better days.
