Time for a new thread.

Last night's was the first time in ages I have actually enjoyed watching Corrie. What a difference a good plot twist can make!

Whilst we all recover from the shock of a plot not being immediately obvious from a mile away, just a reminder to everyone on the thread...however obvious a spoiler may seem to you, however many magazines it has been on the cover of, we don't talk about it on here. We are spoiler free.

Eastie police probably investigated and found she was living down the Dales with Zak Dingle so left it.

Perhaps Daniel could decide to track down his mother and start his enquiries in Emmerdale!

Does he have any source of income? I'm assuming he graduates this summer, though he doesn't seem to actually go to university or participate in student life.

Isn't she dead in emmerdale now? So maybe she'll arrive back in Corrie!

Daniel does lots of essays but never seems to go near the uni.

Ken Barlow's other lost son was called Lawrence, and was played by Linas Roach, William Roach's real son, who I am sure played the part of Peter, years & years ago!

I agree coffee that dog is adorable, i love that breed.

Why don't people in Corrie use contraceptives?

Where do they go to get a pregnancy test? Dev's?

Why do they leave the used test lying around?

Now, I have just checked last Friday's episode and Simon was definitely in the Bistro when Steve took the family photo and then admitted Oliver was his son, so why did Leanne have to tell him when he came back from the trip?
There is something seriously wrong with the continuity in this programme.

I wonder if there is someone with a specific responsibility for making sure incest isn't committed.

I still don't understand why Sally is no longer at the factory. Was she sacked? I found her really irritating.

Thought it was hilarious that one of Sinead and Daniel's cons for having a baby was that they'd never be able to go out. Haven't they realised they live on Coronation St, where babies miraculously disappear, so you just carry on your normal life going to the Rovers, Bistro etc, until the child reappears all ready to go to Weathy High?

Why do they always leave pregnancy tests right in view of anyone, why would you chuck it into your make up bag and then leave your make up bag open, and why are they doing another pregnancy storyline so soon, it's boring, although at least the baby isn't Chesneys, one little Chesney is enough and we never see him.

Good call eddiemairswife, I never noticed that, yep continuity is not there forte.

And what's with all the interest in Kens car all of a sudden, we never see it, where is it parked, and why did Tracey need it if she has the van anyway.

Sally with that mega phone is ridiculous, and what are them workmen doing, not a sign of any activity apart from standing around. It's so unrealistic looking.

Didn't know Ken had a car. I remember Tracey won one once on a quiz show and it was navy. Surprised Daniel drives if he had no money or income plus wouldn't it be expensive for Ken to suddenly stick him on the insurance - no mention of it.

Is there a happy ending for Leanne? I really hope so. It's one thing after another, let the poor girl have a few years of relative happiness. Michelle is gunning for her like a woman possessed, forgetting that 'loveable' Steve is the one that has ruined her life.

Such a horribly sexist episode on Friday as well. Everything was a woman's fault.

Peter is such a dick. 'I'm not dishonest!!' Cheated on and lied to every woman he's ever been married to. Lied about drinking. Lied in court about the affair with Carla!! Ugh.

When peter said 'I'm not dishonest' even he had a smirk on his face as if he thought what the hell do the writers even know how many affairs I've had!

Going back to Simon being told about Steve being dad, wouldn't the actor or the other actors in that scene remember he was there? Or do actors just learn their lines and say them without thinking about the context?

During the party at the bistro I think someone said something about their being a tv in the office and sending Simon, Amy etc in there. I could be wrong, but I think that's what happened which is why Simon is only being told now. I remember thinking it was a bit weird that Robert/Nick would trust a load of kids in his office!

coffee do you watch "Gogglebox"? the highlight for me is when they show those two lazy little dachshunds who are always curled up in a ball on the sofa with the two men. They're adorable, wish they were mine.

I think Michelle's going too far with her vendetta against Leeann but it's not Leeann who's the victim here.

Have I missed something? How did Adam know that chap was a drug dealer? I know he took the woman(Trina?) back to the flat, but I can't remember where he met her.

Why on earth does Ken keep giving money to these grown men? Adam had a car when he arrived. Doesn't Ken wonder why the insurance haven't paid out after it was 'stolen'? And why did he give Adam the money to pay Daniel's rent?
