Time for a new thread.

Last night's was the first time in ages I have actually enjoyed watching Corrie. What a difference a good plot twist can make!

Whilst we all recover from the shock of a plot not being immediately obvious from a mile away, just a reminder to everyone on the thread...however obvious a spoiler may seem to you, however many magazines it has been on the cover of, we don't talk about it on here. We are spoiler free.

I'm not sure she was management exactly. She was in the office with Carla for about 5 minutes, clutching folders the way she clutches her wedding file. I thought she was some sort of entertainer?

DJKKSlider · 28/02/2017 14:41

How old is shona? She looks maybe 30-35ish?
That could mean that the she is old enough to be Clayton's mum, wasn't he 15 when he killed Kylie? That photo could be a picture of Clayton as a baby.
That could be interesting, if it was any other program but Corrie. Grin

Clawdy · 28/02/2017 15:08

Nice one DJKK, hadn't thought of that, yes, it could be Clayton.

Sparklingbrook · 28/02/2017 15:29

Thanks DJKK so the viewers weren't in on it as such. assuming Kym Marsh isn't leaving or anything I wonder what's next for her.

woodhill · 28/02/2017 21:39

Also you would think Michelle's son Ryan would be mentioned.

FlowerOfTheValley · 28/02/2017 22:50

They really messed up with Michelle. I don't know if it was supposed to come over as dramatic or hasn't she got one over on Steve with the pub lock in but it was embarrassingly bad. Maybe it's a she's going out of her mind with grief story but it doesn't work. It's just cringeworthy.

If they want to portray her as totally grief stricken and want you to feel for her by far the most moving scenes are when she's just talking about it all. Those have been very good and moving. You felt for her character when Steve said it was his son but in the pub lock in, not at all.

woodhill · 01/03/2017 19:43

Why isn't Sally at work. She never seems to be at the factory or doing council duties.

Akire · 01/03/2017 20:27

juat watching tonight's now, what are builders building? Can't be doing garage? There's about one builder to every square foot!

Akire · 01/03/2017 20:44

Amy and Simon were already cousins so now share a step-sibling so what does that make them?

Eastie77 · 01/03/2017 22:15

The lad who killed Kylie was 15?? He looked much olderConfused

Oliver's half brother and half sister are cousins...his family tree will also take on a whole new level of complexity if Peter & Toyah have a babyGrin

qazxc · 02/03/2017 08:17

I reckon Shona is somehow related to kylie. It will all come out when she realises that the sun bed guy is grooming Bethany, wasn't she being chased by him ? She probably knows about the teenage prostitute or porn that they are building up to.

WhoKn0wsWhereTheTimeG0es · 02/03/2017 08:21

Michelle is just awful, what did Steve ever see in her?

Who's the girl that works in the kebab shop with Chesney? And is it just me or are Daniel and Siobhan shaping up to be the dullest couple in Corrie history?

Sparklingbrook · 02/03/2017 08:23

Name me an exciting couple in Corrie. Grin

Are there any storylines anyone cares about now?

WhoKn0wsWhereTheTimeG0es · 02/03/2017 08:23

Sinead I mean, not Siobhan.

WhoKn0wsWhereTheTimeG0es · 02/03/2017 08:25

Good question. I care about Rita and Norris, and have actually quite enjoyed the Sally/Rosie scenes this week.

Clawdy · 02/03/2017 09:10

The only scene I liked was the one with Tim and Sally where she called him her rock. Yes, the Sally-Rosie scene was well-done too. They need some interesting but believable storylines. Few and far between at the moment.

stonecircle · 02/03/2017 09:15

I quite liked the megaphone scene.

I don't like the way Rita is going - she's always been quite dignified and sharp. She's come across as quite silly in some scenes lately - like walking down the street with Siobhan's Pom Pom hat on. Seemed very out of character.

Sillysausage123 · 02/03/2017 10:22

Did anyone see Daniel go all funny when Sinead said about meeting his mum. I'm sure he has killed his mum or something and they are leading up to this by showing he has anger issues which he usually keeps hidden and the look on sineads face when she sees him react.

WhoKn0wsWhereTheTimeG0es · 02/03/2017 10:55

Yes, I noticed that, but having not watched for ages wondered if I had missed something about his mum.

Which of Ken's sons was it that ripped off a homeless shelter a few years ago?

eddiemairswife · 02/03/2017 11:23

Oh no! We can't have Daniel murdering his mother and concealing the body as well as Phelan and Andy. In real life it must be extremely difficult to get rid of a body. That is why I feel that Andy could still be alive somewhere.

ellenanora5 · 02/03/2017 13:43

Yes I noticed that Sillysausage, he's certainly hiding something, and he flew off the handle attacking Chesney like that, mind you I wouldn't mind attacking Chesney myself, I can't stand him.

I suppose there will be a court battle now so Steve can see Oliver, at least Amy was disgusted with him, no one else was, well apart from Michelle.

CorporalNobbyNobbs · 02/03/2017 13:49

That was Ken's grandson WhoKn0ws that was the son of his long lost son whose name I can't remember. The son and grandson were played by William Roache's real life sons.

Eastie77 · 02/03/2017 19:44

Daniel reminded me of Norman Bates from the start and I'm convinced he killed his mum. Didn't he (reluctantly) report her missing at the police station a few months ago. No follow up since - another 'lost' storyline.

eddiemairswife · 02/03/2017 20:14

But what did he do with the body? He was 15 when his mum left. He wouldn't even have had a car.

CoffeeCoffeeAndLotsOfIt · 02/03/2017 20:48

I hope we get to see more of Beth and Kirk's gorgeous little dachshund 😍.

That little dog could be in every scene as far as I'm concerned 😁
