Corrie Thread - How can Michelle walk on the cobbles in 6 inch heels?? NO SPOILERS PLEASE

Time for a new thread.

Last night's was the first time in ages I have actually enjoyed watching Corrie. What a difference a good plot twist can make!

Whilst we all recover from the shock of a plot not being immediately obvious from a mile away, just a reminder to everyone on the thread...however obvious a spoiler may seem to you, however many magazines it has been on the cover of, we don't talk about it on here. We are spoiler free.

It has been hard viewing this week. As grim as EE is, Corrie definitely has the edge. I think it is harder to watch knowing it happens to real people.

Nick walking off into the sunset with only the clothes on his back and his passport is very impractical, considering he has a business to run and other responsibilities.

Enders has gone the other way, the storylines are all about bin collections, driving tests, closing the community centre. YAWN. and Ian is at risk of diabetes

I like the way none of Bethany's family have been taken in by Nathan's act (even though they don't know how bad the situation is) but can't get her to leave. Better than them all being tricked.

I'm guessing that nathan sells girls in a sex ring from last night's episode. I think that's how Shona knew him (she looked terrified of him). I hope Bethany will be okay. The actors in this storyline are amazing imo.

Also, is it just me who feels a bit sorry for Daniel? I know he shouldn't have pushed Ken down the stairs but I feel for him as he was abandoned as a child, and his baby was aborted which left him devastated. The actor is good but Denise is a bit naff I think.

Can't wait for tonight's episode!!

I definitely feel sorry for Daniel. Surely the cops would take his background into account, especially if Ken spoke up for him. He'd need some serious psychotherapy though!

Daniel should have hit Ken a bit harder and put us all out of our misery.

Last night was the first time I thought the Bethany plot was realistic.

Does anyone else really dislike Anna? She really grates on me..

Anna is and always has been dreadful.

Denise turning up when she did is implausible even by soap standards.

How come Shona's suddenly in hospital on breathing machine with David looking worried beside her when a few hours earlier she was helping him break into Nathan's flat and then informing the police?

Oh Bethany .

sky she had a lot of damage to her head, probably has some bleeding on her brain as she left it so long to get medical help.

Thank goodness we've seen the last of Nick.

Can't see why Shona would have been allowed to leave hospital without all that blood being cleaned up?

AnneE - there was a nod towards that implausibility tonight when Daniel said his mum had turned up 'because she heard you lot had been sniffing round'. How?!

I didn't feel soory for Leanne- no doubt she'll be shacked up with another sucker within a couple of months.

That policeman who's mates with Nathan wasn't at the party, wonder how that's going to pan out. He's bound to pop up somewhere,

I presume he warned Nathan that the rozzers were on their way as he did get notice hence the blokeswith Bethany had scarpered.
