Time for a new thread.

Last night's was the first time in ages I have actually enjoyed watching Corrie. What a difference a good plot twist can make!

Whilst we all recover from the shock of a plot not being immediately obvious from a mile away, just a reminder to everyone on the thread...however obvious a spoiler may seem to you, however many magazines it has been on the cover of, we don't talk about it on here. We are spoiler free.

Boys I am glad to read that your sister broke up with her boyfriend as he was such a mummy's boy!

I think his smarmyness makes him creepy so very threatening.

I also read it was based on a real life experience

I wondered how likely it was, and how much money he is supposed to be making from Bethany's encounters,after weeks and weeks of grooming. I assumed at the start of this horrible storyline that a whole ring of victims would be involved, but he seems to be working on his own.

Great so second get in the boot in few weeks! Why does no one ever see it! Have a missed something what does what's his face think Daniel has done??

So is whatsisface Nathan's friend also a policeman or pretending to be one?

Thanks they all arrived the same week and so boring I cant work out who's who.

Nathan's friend does look quite families in his police uniform so maybe we have seen him before??

woodhill I assume he's real, as Craig-who-has-just-become-a-Community-Support-Officer had been talking about his first shift with his boss, saw him and said "Hey boss" and they had a conversation.

So seems he is policeman and bad man.

Also where is Gail who is usually a bit more savvy. Would Bethany be able to press charges against Sarah?

Completely confused after watching Monday's episodes. Not following.. so Nathan's friend is a real copper? What was the whole back and forth going to.press charges on each other about? Was it the policeman just manipulating them so as to drive them further apart?
What is Nathan's actual plan? So far he's got bethany to sleep with 1 man who maybe paid him? Why does he want bethany so much, why would he go to all the hassle rather than just find some other girl? Sorry if I'm being a bit naive here.

What Gail who married John Holman and took up with a con man Gail? Savvy? Boring arse though he is, Nick seems to have got the family braincell.

Members of the public don't 'press charges' the CPS decide what charges if any someone faces.

It's good part of the plan the police man (real) get to suck up to worried parents- the tell child they want to press charges. Child believes them as think they now hate her. Tried to tell parents she will then charge them kidnap all gets nasty.

Think top cop guy got first pickings then few more of his top quality mates get top price. Then after few weeks of being pushed around and not looking her best he shipped them off to his other place where anyone can pay to use them I guess. Certain that's what his other business premise are.

By which point you are held u set threat of a criminal record , family hating you and no where to go. Guessing with option of some drugs thank you keep you hocked and to get through it m

I would keep Roy, Mary, Norris & bring back Maud and some flashbacks of Blanche's (RIP) humour and one liners.

I was re-watching some of her finest moments on youtube.

And a scene at Peter's AA meeting.

Boys there was a classic line from Amy about Nana Blanche letting her watch The Birds when she couldn't sleep or some such... loved it.

Yes Amy'a comment about The Birds was brilliant😂
