Time for a new thread.

Last night's was the first time in ages I have actually enjoyed watching Corrie. What a difference a good plot twist can make!

Whilst we all recover from the shock of a plot not being immediately obvious from a mile away, just a reminder to everyone on the thread...however obvious a spoiler may seem to you, however many magazines it has been on the cover of, we don't talk about it on here. We are spoiler free.

I read an interview with the actor who plays Mel, and she said Mel still loves Nathan.

The police are always so horrid on Coronation Street. I'd hate to have had to lie face down on muddy, stony ground like Tracey.Why do they always press down on their heads when they get in a police car. They're always so sarcastic in the interview room.

So was it Rob who shoved Ken down the stairs, and what's he supposed to do with Amy now.

How do you know it was rob?

Isn't that standard practice so they don't bang their heads (and claim police brutality)?

That was so stupid with Rob. Amy will tell he took her and then Tracey's lie that she hurt Ken will be in vain. I think we still don't know who did it.

I thought Tracey and Amy were going to zoom off in the car with the police in hot pursuit to give Rob a chance of escape. Tracey would still be in trouble for harbouring Rob - it just did not make any sense.

I genuinely feel so sorry for poor Eva

Maria is treating Eva appallingly - given that Eva was just about the only person to believe Maria about Caz and nagged and cajoled Aidan (to his annoyance) into helping Maria initially. Maria might be up for murder if not for Eva, she was also very kind and caring with Liam.

Aidan is truly vile - Maria has no self respect. I love David - he is the best character in the Street. I want him to throw nuts at Gail again.

David's banter with Audrey was hilarious - a much-needed lighter moment.

Regarding Rob, not quite sure what was going on there. Rob trying to repair the car..Amy walks off in a strop... next thing Rob is in another(?) car with a bald man who tells him not to be late for the boat (where did that man come from and how did he know where to find Rob?).....Amy is offered a lift by sleazy (different?) bald man.....rescued in the nick of time by Rob, who presumably has repaired the car. I was very tired yesterday evening, so might not have followed correctly.

I thought Amy had made her own way home or had accepted lift of dodgy looking stranger who was ok after all. But now you mention it Rob was 100% sure Amy was home even when Tracey said she wasn't!

How long till Rob get all together? 10y? Will he be back soon after being such a good boy this time?

Akire , Rob stopped Amy getting into a strangers car just in time ad brought her back.
Rob escaped. He was being transferred from one prison to another when there was a car crash and he fled the scene. So he's on the run, not released.

Thanks I must have nodded off about Amy, did know he had escaped albedit accidentally! Just wondered given he for years and had come back briefly if he was due back soon not few years down line.

I was quite bemused by Zeedan's hair on Monday. It looked as if he had a huge pile of extra hair on the top of his head. Has it always been like that? He's one of the characters I have no interest in, so I rarely take much notice of him.

Not sure Akire. It's a short story line to bring him back for alright, wonder what they have planned for him.
