all of it very thought provoking. I couldn't understand the different outfits every day.....how the hell did she have the energy to bother? Looking fancy would have been the furthest thing from my mind.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/02/2017 15:36

It was a tip,wasn't it?

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/02/2017 15:37

I was interested in the 'trouble' comment to at the beginning of the phone call. That was said very calmly which again is terrifying/odd.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/02/2017 15:38

Maybe it was a coping mechanism? During a particularly bas period of my life I was always fully made up with nails painted.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/02/2017 15:41

Although odd as her video was of her looking very different. Who knows?

user1484578224 · 08/02/2017 17:12

dame....yeah get you but it was like she was playing a part.
Tragic for that baby.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/02/2017 17:35

I know what you mean.

Rioja123 · 08/02/2017 17:55

Just watched this, I wanted to shake her! How does she think the poor baby ended up with such shocking life-changing injuries :(

user1484578224 · 08/02/2017 17:58

she didnt think , she knew....nobody spends 10 minutes behind a closed door making a bottle up.

user1484578224 · 08/02/2017 18:05

btw anyone notice red marks on her and dilated pupils

BakeOffBiscuits · 08/02/2017 19:08

I just finished watching and am so glad she was found guilt.

There really was no other verdict, she told lies and was found out!

Kyle hit her whilst holding the baby, she reported him to the police yet she told her barrister that he'd never been violent and her child wasn't in danger Hmm. I suspect the jury thought if she could lie about that, she was probably lying about everything else.

But the stupidity of that lie just confuses me? Why would any sane person lie when there is evidence from the police and the TEXT messages ("I'm battered and bruised") to prove he was violent? Confused

Embekkisson1 · 08/02/2017 19:24

If she was a drug addict she could of been protecting the boyfriend because he was her supplier . It did cross my mind if she and the boyfriend were drug addicts , the state of the flat , the abuse and she did have marks on her skin and sometimes looked " dopey".

BakeOffBiscuits · 08/02/2017 19:55

I did notice very large pupils on several occasions and marks on her neck. Is that a sign of drug addiction?

In fact of they were addicts, maybe he told her if she ever said a word against him, he would tell the police she was an addict, and she would then have no chance of ever having the children? Just speculation, I might be completely wrong.

TheFirstMrsDV · 08/02/2017 20:58

I missed the first bit of this so have watched it on catch up.

I think the single biggest issue is the extent of the baby's injuries.
The fact that the mother is refusing to admit that her partner could have been responsible shows a startling amount of denial.

Babies do not acquire severe cerebral palsy without a significant brain injury and brain injuries do not 'just happen'

That being the case how the hell does she think her baby became so catastrophically brain injured?

THose text messages suggest she knows he hurt the baby. 'Changes need to be made' implies that he had already harmed or come close to harming her.

There is something odd about her. The very fact she is allowing herself to be filmed and identified shows a lack of insight. I have worked out what part of London she is living in (I am pretty sure) and she has a very distinctive look.

friendlyflicka · 08/02/2017 21:03

I agree. I can see which bit of London she is in - although she said she moved there after the crime. She must have thought she would get off, and this film would show her in a good light - which does she no insight at all.

The solicitor is far less patient than the barrister...

friendlyflicka · 08/02/2017 21:04

Just read this whole thread - are people saying they can access her Facebook page?

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/02/2017 21:05

Yes, she has 2 accounts.

friendlyflicka · 08/02/2017 21:30

But it doesn't tell you her name on this programme - or maybe I am being very dense...

friendlyflicka · 08/02/2017 21:33

(and by the way - I am not asking you to name her...)

Rioja123 · 08/02/2017 21:48

I'm sure it's not that hard to find her.

karmassidekick · 08/02/2017 22:00

Yes you can see her profile and his. They look like a nice normal happy family on Facebook. Neither of them look like drug addicts either. Imo. The baby is named on one of his posts.

friendlyflicka · 08/02/2017 22:17

That is horrible. I would have thought (because of the child), the ability to trace her so easily would have been cleaned up better.

BakeOffBiscuits · 08/02/2017 22:17

Is Kenzey her real name?

friendlyflicka · 08/02/2017 22:21

I suppose the child's name is changed so it doesn't make any difference to her, and it is the least of her problems. The internet is just very scary sometimes.

karmassidekick · 08/02/2017 22:30

What makes you think the baby's name had been changed? I thought they were in foster care not adopted so I don't know if the child's name has been changed or not.
I hope it has for her sake, it took me one search and 3 clicks to find the baby's first name.
