Re that rug. Was it my imagination but did Shaida's couple (not the two blokes) also have it in their 'before' lounge and then it ended up in 'Oliver's' bedroom?

Yes Fontella the rug did swap houses in last night's show, and has indeed turned up again in Queen's lounge! Spooky.

I guess Oliver was desperate to find something to cover the floor in the bedroom after the possible asbestos drama which may have scuppered his plans.

I'm sure I saw the rug on Location Location Location- I taped the programme and watched it last night after watching The Great Interior Design Challenge.

THE RUG is on my living-room floor as I speak. At least I think it's mine, although it might have mysteriously transported itself from either Oliver's, Shaida's, or indeed Location, Location's room

Anyone interested in having one for themselves can get one from Ikea for a very reasonable £60

Well it looks like it's on it's way to being a Style Classic so I'm off to Ikea to get my investment rug!

Agree that THE RUG is there because the little zebra rug was meant to go over repainted floorboards. I suspect the existing carpet was stained - bit unfair of judges to make such a fuss about of it given the homeowners and production screwed up and didn't bother pulling up the carpet to check.

I've got The Rug too, its in DD's bedroom. I'm loving all the cats that have appeared in each episode, especially the art critic 💩

I thought the Art Critic Cat was going to do a Pollock on Nicholas's work!
