Is anyone else eagerly awaiting the arrival of taboo starring my lover the beautiful Mr Hardy on Saturday 7th of jan?

Did anyone catch what Tom Hollander said to Godfrey at the end? Was he asking for HIS forgiveness for something, or in his pain did he think Godfrey was a woman from his past and was asking for forgiveness?

Absolutely loved it gripping from start to finish and fantastic cinematography and as far Mr Delaney . So is their defo another series? And when????

That was FUCKING BRILLIANT! I am gutted it has finished. I'm sure I'll try to rewatch the whole series before it vanishes from iplayer (hoping episode 1 is still available..!

I think he was confessing to a past girlfriend/wife and Godfrey was pretending to be her. Not sure if that means he died or was just hallucinating.

The production design was utterly divine. TV BAFTAS all round 👏👏👏

So Lorna will now replace Zilpha in terms of an 'incestuous' relationship perhaps? 'I'm his mother'. Tender moment when he touched her on the boat. She has been like a mother to him. Looking out for him, encouraging him, defending him. Very grounding and grounded character- every other character have been insane flibbertygibberts, including JD himself.

I think he was apologising to a woman in his past, not Godfrey.

Was only 7 episodes & was set in Australia about the first convicts. Had the same feel as taboo.

Oof. Flipping heck I am EXHAUSTED! That was brilliant. Everyone here will be happy it's over - they won't have to put up with me shouting 'Shhhhh. Shut up. I need to watch. Get out. Don't speak to me' for an hour every Saturday night. I'm very sad it's finished . Loved every minute of it. I'll be watching it again Merlin.

I think Zilpha is dead because JD said "if she were dead, I'd hear her..." etc and was adamant she was still alive. Then later she spoke to him while she was floating around in the watery-vision type sequence. Then he cried.

That was exhausting! Anyone else astonished at how the timing of James's release, assembling of those who'd be fleeing with him, provisioning of the ship and finally catching the tide was so accurately pre-planned and executed?
