I think from the reaction it's obvious whose gone. Pretty annoyed that people have alluded to it.

I haven't watched (was actually out dancing!) but feel like I haven't posted for ages. So basically popping in to say hello. I'll come back tomorrow when I've watched it!

So Claudia's quickstep wasn't worth a ten?? It was fab. What more do they want?

Louise and Kevin have no connection or emotional intensity at all. Claudia was much better this eve. She is being badly undermarked. Ore's dance was good but Joanne danced round him for most of the dance!! It was all her!!

What did Darcey say? That Claudia was a very fit girl? Ffs! She's an Olympic gymnast and a woman! Omg. Really not keen on Darcey's undermarking of Claudia - esp. Since C has said she's had to relearn all her gym training to dance!

I feel really disillusioned this series. Ah well.

Of course Claudia's quickstep wasn't worth a 10, there was blatant gapping. I must say, I'm getting awfully bored of her constantly saying how difficult this is for her as a gymnast - she doesn't seem too worried about her gymnastic background when she's doing somersaults or the splits.

What do we think for Judges' Choice/Personal Choice this year?

I am plumping for:

Cloudia: JC viennese PC charleston
Danny: JC quickstep PC samba
Lou: JC waltz PC argentine
Ore: JC american smooth PC jive

Think they'll do the judges' choice on one they want to see again as opposed to once to improve...or you'd end up with Danny's foxtrot and the rest havikhavikng options where the only room for improvement would be Change your choreo/Change your music/Change your partner.

The more I think about it, the more irritated I am by the mark for Joanne's Argentine Tango at which Ore was also present. So many other routines have scored fewer marks yet have required so much more of the celeb.

Watch Karen Clifton orgasm all over that and Kevin and Louise's routines on ITT while sniffing about the other two.

Next week, whoever makes it to the final, I an voting on the "anyone but a Clifton to win" ticket. Let's face it, Louise should go out tonight anyway if this is actually a show about dancing. She is beyond dull and was actually not very good in her two dances.

Well I tried to vote on my mob. but couldn't get through. I voted Ore, I don't care if he's dancing with Joanne I thought she was brilliant too. The 2 dances really gave them all a challenge, I enjoyed it.

But Danny's and Ore's easy ways of lifting their partners was A MA ZING.

Completely agree with you Evilring. I always check the spoiler but NEVER comment on here about it until after the show has aired on Sunday night. (I only turn on the first 5 mins of the show on Sunday night to watch the group dance. I'm of the view that they should go back to screening the results show live on Saturday night) It is terribly unfair for anyone on here to allude to the result. The digital spy thread clearly states that reference to the result is NOT to be made outside of that thread.

I thought dannymac almost dropped Oti too!

Just adding another voice to the 'Claudia was undermarked' chorus. She's been one of my favourites al the way through, I always find her very enjoyable to watch. I can see she has a problem with looking at the floor so I don't mind that criticism. But how the judges can harp on about lack of connection and narrative when Louise is dead-eyed in every dance, I do not know.

I thought Claudia's rhumba was beautiful, again I can see what Craig means when he says there needed to be more flow between the beautiful shapes she made. BUT I feel like Claudia's weaknesses are really bigged up by the judges and the other dancers' weaknesses are really played down.

It really does seem like they have had it in for her all along, or am I just unable to be objective about her because I like her so much?

She obviously won't survive if she is in the dance off, so let's hope everyone votes for her...

I am predisposed to like Oré too, but I think Joanne gives him quite dull/unimpressive routines. I feel nothing for Louise, and I liked Danny at the start but it's got a bit boring how good he is now. It feels a bit smug.

Gooseysgirl - I don't think Digital Spy are policing the entire internet They simply mean that reference to the spoiler is not permitted elsewhere on the DS Strictly forum!

That being said, I agree that no-one should imply what the outcome is on a thread like this where people clearly don't want to know. It's easy to find for those who do.

As a warning - be careful on YouTube if you are rewatching the dances though. People are quite unashamed about posting spoilers in the comments section, so you could find out by accident very easily.

I would also suggest you don't go on the Strictly FB page as there are loads of comments revealing who was in the DO/left in the posts for all the videos from last night

I do check the spoiler but am so careful not to say anything (even to my family who do not want to know) as it is really unfair. Some people are just idiots!

Yes that's what I meant Theonly but I didn't word it well as usual Perhaps future threads on here could include 'no spoilers please' so that at least posters won't unwittingly find out the spoiler if they don't want to.

Why vote "Anyone but a Clifton"? Joanne's never won before or even got within sniffing distance of a final. And Ore's come further than any of the others in terms of the skills involved.

I thought if anything Claudia was overmarked. The quickstep was good but was AJ's trademark "Make it as quick as we can to hide the errors" choreography, and there were several times when there were obvious gaps between the two of them. I really don't see how any of that could have merited a 10. The rhumba was a series of poses and no connection between them at all, and if anyone else had done it it would have got 8s at best.

Agree, although it would probably need to say 'not even a hint of a spoiler please'.

It seems as soon as the word spoiler is even mentioned someone has to make some comment in response. So safer just not to mention it at all I reckon.

I'm still really annoyed. It was the first time this series I've felt spurred on enough to vote and the result is ruined.

Surely if the results are being mentioned on the strictly fb page they must realise doing a recorded results show just isn't going to work for much longer? Too many selfish twats in this world.

They're my bugbear just as ringers annoy other people! I find the bias towards Kevin - if he gets to the final this year, it will be his fourth one in a row; where's his equivalent of the Ann Widecombe style of celeb? - a little bit too transparent, and it leaves a bad taste. I'm also not a fan of their naked ambition and competitiveness (have you seen Kevin's reaction when he gets through to another week?) And while I guess Jo's choreography is clever, I prefer those pros who really challenge their partner rather than aiming to camouflage. I thought Katya did a fab job this year of actually challenging Ed to dance rather than just be a joke contestant.

I would actually disagree that Ore has come the furthest. He clearly had a good deal of ability right from the start, and he hasn't actually made much progress. His jive was one of his highest scores and that was about his third dance. If anything, before last night, he was getting worse. And last night is skewed because of the weird marking.

I just can't warm to them at all.

I agree with you on Katya but Ola, Kristina and this year Nat have camouflaged their partners far far more than Jo.
She deserves to be in the final. Kevin was given Frankie who was a known quantity but Susannah and Kellie went further than expected, in part due to his choreo. Did he deserve a duffer this year: absolutely and it would have been great to see what he did with one but there was no obvious did this year amongst the women in any case: Lesley Joseph thought the producers had her in the biddy slot but she had lots of stage experience. Louise looked quite poor in the launch show and her conti days were two decades ago.
As it is, I think a Clifton trinity plus one other was an idea until Will scuppered it, along the lines of DWTS Olympian final three which got scuppered by the bible belt vote for Candace. It isn't a terrible ploy but Danny was always the fourth finalist and could well storm it at the weekend. I don't think Jo/Ore and Kev/Lou have as much chemistry as other couples have had (nor did AJ/Claudia) but I won't resent either of them if they win.

"Spoiler's up" would be enough, or nothing tbh. Those who want to know would surely know where to find the result. We all know the "Results Show" is recorded on the Saturday.

Don't understand why some posters feel the need to tell us they've seen the result on the Sat night. SCD's threads have been wonderful for years, first time I've ever felt annoyed.

Ore has been my favorite since his singing in the rain routine.

Not too keen on Danny ,he is all open shirts and shimmer,but I adored the dance to misty blue ,Oti was fantastic.

I don't mind that some have had previous performing experience as long as they admit it.

Didn't get the Ed love,I preferred Lesley.

Have everything crossed for Ore but don't worry am not in the UK at the moment so I can't vote

Ore's Singing In The Rain American Smooth was brilliantly danced with an elegant poise and ease of execution.

The AT lacked the choreography to do him justice, but the dance is mainly about the girl anyway. I wondered if the lack of kicks from him was due to a knee injury?

Claudia has made a great deal more progress in her dance expression than Louise has in any part of her dancing.
Last night Louise looked lack lustre in her Samba.

I know she s much older than Claudia but that is not the point.

I don't think it's true to say that Louise hasn't made progress in expression. What she achieved in that respect both in the AT and last week's dance were way ahead of what she would have done at the beginning of the series.
