Just noticed Pasha is bringing his show to oir local theatre next year. Anyone seen it? Can't imagine a whole show of ballroom dancing sustaining my attention, but happy to be proved wrong.

Checking in to the new thread Smile

Oksana looked absolutely amazing on ITT tonight, sitting in black lace as a silent vision of beauty, with oodles of black shaded eyelashes and full on red lips, dabbing delicately as each tear welled up, while Rinder waxed lyrical, on and on and on.

They were quite a double act.

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 05/12/2016 21:16

Monkseal's up and on fine form:

here

LivingBoy

I particularly liked this bit, commenting on Claudia and AJ watching the lions do bugger all at the zoo.

I would have loved it if Cloudia and AJ had taken inspiration from this and produced an authentic leonine salsa where Cloudia lay flat on her back on the giant polystyrene rock yawning, whilst AJ licked his balls

Now that WOULD have been worth 10s all round! Grin

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 05/12/2016 22:08

I also loved the MRA zookeeper Grin

Clawdy · 05/12/2016 22:35

Am I the only one here who loves Ore? I find him gorgeous to watch.

RTKangaSANTAMummy · 05/12/2016 22:53

Ore is the only one I am watching it for now

The other 3 I don't care about at all

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 06/12/2016 00:10

Thank you for the new thread Smile

Shotgun I've been to Anton and Erin's show and really enjoyed it - there are other dancers, there's a big band/orchestra on the stage and there's some talking/singing as well as the dancing. I don't know what Pasha's is like though.

BalloonSlayer · 06/12/2016 06:58

Marking place.

I was worried I wouldn't enjoy it with Ed gone but it's actually now exciting in a different way as they are now all very good and it depends on how well they dance on the night.

Sad the judge has gone. I thought it was a shame that the last two weeks he has had dances that were not really "him" buy hey that's showbusiness!

ppeatfruit · 06/12/2016 09:37

MrsJamin I wasn't watching 7 years go and you must have an amazing memory because even if I had been I wouldn't have remembered the group dance Xmas Grin I'm sorry I forgot the other dances featuring Chicago last year too Xmas Blush !!!

I loved the quote from DVO she only "sat on a chair" in Chicago, indeed !!!

I was noticing that there are less very show dancey dances actually. Len has commented on the fact that there are proper ballroom moves in some of the dances. this year. Of course the musical theme would be 'showy' Grin

ppeatfruit · 06/12/2016 09:38

Oh I LOVE Ore too btw I hope he stays in this weekend.

CaveMum · 06/12/2016 10:07

I forgot to tell you all, I had my 20wk scan last week and it's a boy!

So if Strictly is still going in 20-25 years time stand by for the CaveMum siblings, set to rival The Cliftons Grin Wink

Congrats, CaveMum!

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 06/12/2016 10:29

Congratulations! If the show and our threads are still going in 4 years or so you can tell us all about becoming a dance comp mum Grin

Fiderer · 06/12/2016 10:38

Cave how lovely Grin

derxa · 06/12/2016 10:45

Marking

CaveMum · 06/12/2016 11:00

Grin DD will be 3 next year so I've already looked into signing her up for a class.

My teacher doesn't teach kids anymore but there are several teachers in this area that she has trained up that do.

One runs an "intro to movement" class for 3-5 year olds which covers pretty much every possible style apart from ballet, but unfortunately I am at work when the class is on at 4pm Sad

herecomesthsun · 06/12/2016 11:19

ppeatfruit · 06/12/2016 13:46

Flowers Cave Thanks for the new thread too Xmas Grin I 've just read an interview with Darcey and she started ballet quite late , there's always time and sometimes the much younger ones get put off before they really get into it.

Tanaqui · 06/12/2016 13:56

Congrats Cave!

Just marking place really, nothing to say today!

SapphireStrange · 06/12/2016 15:30

Thanks for new thread, checking in Smile

EveEveEve · 06/12/2016 20:25

Apologies if this has already been discussed but since Will Young left does it mean the series is ending one week early i.e. NOT ON XMAS DAY?!
