I am hoping by the end of this thread Phelan will have disappeared, Anna and family will have moved away and someone will have remembered to book a babysitter for baby Jack.

Tonight's non-stories... Simon goes missing in Trafford Centre, turns up; Adam takes a woman home.

Daniel kips on sofa while two straight women are amazed at the fun they're having in a gay bar

Gripping stuff tonight, although I do quite enjoy seeing other sets apart from the Wethersfield force-field.

Teenager goes missing, young girl in bed with sleazy guy, couple weeping over lost baby......just what we want to watch.....tonight's was awful. Something is going sadly wrong. Why don't the producers look at threads like these and try to realize what people like in a popular soap?

What was point if Simon going missing? Was it just boring filler? He's what 13? Surely he knows how to use a phone box? Plus police really take a 13y home at what 9pm
At night? Surely police would call parents and you go and pick him up if felt he was vulnerable.

Do we think guy slept with Bethany? Thought going down selling her sex or filming it?

If only Simon could have stayed missing....I wish they wouldn't give Bethany so much air time, very weak actress, but then so is Sinead, Fizz, Toyah, Sophie and Rawsie. In fact most of the young ones are rubbish.

I think Bethany is going to end up sold to some sleazy guy to 'Deflower' her.

Their research is rubbish too, the rolling hills of Kildare don't exist, it's as flat as a pancake. Its landlocked too so they must be excellent walkers if they made it to a beach.

aah - so I missed a gripping episode on Thursday - I did wonder if I was having a senior moment or I had just fallen asleep it does not get any better does it?
I don't understand the storylines at the moment and there is way too much of the 'young things' and their lifestyle and how much 'fun' they are having when they are not scowling, behaving like fishwives with a weak script they are unable to inject ANY life into
so there were 6 (SIX) (VI) episodes this week - I give up.

I was confused last night, re Bethany and the girl who was missing. I wondered if I'd missed an episode, it looks like I did.
I agree with the crap research into storylines. There's a huge source of graduates being churned out from universities nationwide, why don't the producers tap into it.

I thought the fact tan shop guy got up and put his boxers on meant he'd had sex with Bethany and now he's going to move into either "but I love you so you would sleep with tom dick and Harry to save me if you loved me too" or "do you want your mum to know about/see this video or are you going to do what I tell you"?

Or possibly he's selling the girls and she will disappear like the last one?

I suppose the next scandal will be Aliya and Kate.

And I'm pretty sure most of us would have dragged a drunk sixteen year old home instead of letting her go with some dodgy looking bloke who just turned up and claimed he was looking for her.

But she knew him and wanted to go so wasn't like she had just met him that night. Though u would have probabley taking a pic as they drove off!

Ye that's true Akire, I'm just not comfortable with that storyline, it seems the writers are just looking for the shock factor nowadays and have completely forgotten about the way it was written for years, which was what kept most of us tuning in.

Yes NO SPOlLERs! I don't read papers and I avoid magazine aisle so even if it's on front page of TV times I would not have seen it. Some of us like watching without knowing what's going happen. If it's not been shown live or on preview advert you can't mention it!

wasnt sarah kidnapped by a man she met on line when she was younger, you'd think she would be concerned about bethany doing these on line videos with someone sarah hasn't met
