I am hoping by the end of this thread Phelan will have disappeared, Anna and family will have moved away and someone will have remembered to book a babysitter for baby Jack.

Maria is related to the factory guy by marriage which is ostensible reason for his involvement, but I think they fancy each other too (had a one night stand a while back)

Because the kids had lied to her about the scratchie and said Bethany had bought it and she was tired of them basically!

Sad to see "Kim Tate" reduced to Dev's "fishwife" - why bring the actress in and then not really have a proper role for her? I originally thought that Erica and Liz McDonald would be ruling Queens at the Rovers - with lots of fun and banter.

I also thought the wedding was sloppy writing - they did not explain the various stages of a Muslim wedding. I don't think Rana would be pleased not to have had a shower , a hairdo etc and a big celebration. She had all her control taken away. Zeedan never smiles - I wouldn't want to be hitched to such a PA grump.

My grown up kids were aghast that the police did not show a photo of Caz to the workers or factory boss. We can't understand on what basis Maria is being held in "prison" - did she have a bail hearing?

Yes loinnir i remember saying that on a past thread when Erica and Dev got together. What would she see in him, she is fab and he is...well, Dev!

So now Tim has an allotment, does Roy still have his?

I agree re Kim Tate, cannot figure why she hasn't a more central role. I loved her in Emmerdale!

SoTheySent Maria was married to Liam Connor who is Aidan's cousin so Liam Jr is their cousin also (and Michelle's nephew although you wouldn't know that considering she never even glances in his direction)

Trying to fathom out where various people are living. Leanne used to share flat above kebab's with Eva. Now she and Simon are living at Nick's, Eva has flat (with Aidan?). Was he still at the Rover's until then? Peter is now at Ken's. He had moved out at one stage, was that to the Rover's? I thought Jenny had moved in with Jonny, but apparently not as she got annoyed with Gemma using her shampoo at Rita's. What has happened to Sonia? Where will Zeedan and Rana live?

Sonia left when she discovered that Wotsit had done the off. I assume Zeedan and Rana will live with the grandmother.

At one point Ken, Tracy, Peter, Adam and Daniel were all living in the one house, it's crazy, and where does Rob live, he moved out of Kens when he split with Tracy, we haven't seen Sinead in ages and I think Chesney will get with eh......kebab shop girl, sorry can't remember her name.

I suppose Leanne will go into labour on christmas day, we should place bets on where she gives birth, I'm putting a tenner on the backroom at the rovers with Michelle delivering the baby

I reckon that when she does give birth it will somehow come out that Steve is the father.

Now I am even more confused. Just watched tonight's. Again Aliya came on to the street from the direction of Tyrone's; then in the pub Tyrone said he was missing the rent and Freddie was welcome to stay.

caz got round to marias flat in a matter of minutes , where was she in the hairdressers.
corrie used to have away of keeping story lines believable, taking the viewers through each step so you really got involved with the character and stoty line like when deidre got conned by the airline pilot that went on for ages and you could see how easy she was conned
and when gails husband (cant remember is name) gas lighted audrey , it was all done slowly . the viewer was invoved by seeing how he broke into her house and left the cooker on to cause the house fire or when he took her coat to the dry cleaners making her think she was losing her mind all of it kept you on the edge of your seat. corrie at its best.
now its like the writers start a story line get bored with it and just throw in some crap ending

I couldn't understand how auden didn't answer his phone yet magically knew Caz was there to call the police!

Aiden knew because Kate called him when Caz's back was turned and dropped her phone on the sofa so Caz wouldn't see it. He didn't answer the phone but it went to voicemail so it would have let a voicemail of Caz and Kate talking
