I am hoping by the end of this thread Phelan will have disappeared, Anna and family will have moved away and someone will have remembered to book a babysitter for baby Jack.

I was wondering where Phelan got his money from as Vinnie scarpered with all the flats cash, but it seems that he has the rental from Steph and Andy's flat. Does Luke still live there, or is he on someone's sofa?

Agree yaffle and bigs I have just watched it on catch up and I'm a mess, floods of tears here too. Brilliantly acted by two people who have been through it in real life.

The baby loss scenes were very well done I thought. Very moving. I rarely get emotional when watching TV but I did shed a tear last night.

Wrt changing characters, they did that with Tim too. He wasn't particularly nice at first but I love what they've done with him.

Agree that the acting from Kim Marsh & Simon Gregson was excellent.

I haven't seen it and I'm not going to. Very sad.

It's Eileen that has the flat rental as it's owned by Jason.

The hospital scenes were very harrowing, so much so that I wondered if they just outlined the script and let the actors do the rest.

They do have such good actors on thecstreet i do wish theyd get a great script togethe for them all

The Phelan stuff is just painful now. Why isn't Luke wondering why he is so interested in the garage's CCTV?
What is the story with the creepy salon guy and Bethany?

The goodbye scenes with the baby were heartrending and so well written. But the scenes where Michelle is screaming with anguish or rage are just not working for me.

Surely the police could easily track new truck on camera given they had to drive it somewhere? Soaps always have rubbish black mailers it just goes on and on they never learn. Not sure plot for CCTV is unless he try frame Kevin in some way. Surely Anna would guess phelon has something to do with it.

Does anyone else confuse newest youngest Kens son with new salon guy? I thought he was going groom her but he is gay isn't he? Has to be something fishy maybe under age glamour modelling or drugs?

Think she is being groomed for an underage sex ring. It will be unpleasant and not well-done, just another Corrie poor attempt to deal with serious issues for a storyline nobody will want to watch.

Re the CCTV I thought Phelan was recorded telling Todd he intended to rip everyone off, that's why he's finding out if he was recorded. Presumably he'll nick the laptop to get rid of the evidence.

Michelle 's acting has reverted back to screeching again. I just don't think Tha Kim marsh has the depth if acting to pull off a storyline like this.

Yes, that screeching is just annoying.

She is hopeless. The only time she has been remotely realistic is when she was sat drying silently.

Yes, after playing it well in the immediate aftermath of the baby's death, all the good work was undone by her return to full on Banshee mode isn't convincing.

Is Michelle supposed to be an unsympathetic character generally or is it just me taking an irrational dislike to her?
