I am hoping by the end of this thread Phelan will have disappeared, Anna and family will have moved away and someone will have remembered to book a babysitter for baby Jack.

This Jude that's turned up. Did Norris find him on the internet? It seems unlikely as he's apparently living in South Africa, though I suppose he must have been in this country for some reason, thus leaving a pregnant wife over Christmas. It's all happened very quickly. Do you think he's some sort of conman.....trafficking Mary to SA to be an unpaid skivvy?

How long has Phelan been in hospital? He doesn't seem to be very ill. I thought people were discharged as soon as possible.

Yes, Phelan's been there for about two weeks and seems perfectly fine, he also has his own room.

I think the Michelle the poster referred to was Michelle Keegan who played Tina who had an affair with Peter. When Rob killed her, Peter was in the frame for her murder IIRC.

I think Daniel and Adam are meant to be living in Dev's flat (above his shop). How they are paying the rent I don't know.

Why can't Mary just go out for a holiday and a look/see and get to know her son and his wife before making a huge decision - you know like a sane person would do.

Don't really see where they are going with Toyah and Peter once everyone's shock wears off (hopefully not with a Leanne triangle) All a bit dull atm

Well, Peter probably had to give Anna and month's notice. Agree everything is totally ridiculous though. Nick is making me cringe at the moment. There's no chemistry or even basic affection between him and Leanne at all!

I've realised that I love Mary and will be gutted if she goes just call me Norris- I feel like this x mas and new year not really been a big explosive reveal or anything though... kwim? It all irritates me so much but I can't stop watching 😩

Do you think we'll ever find out why Peter was all beaten up when he first reappeared? I thought it must have been Toyah's husband, but when he was in it the other night, his conversation with Toyah seemed to be saying he doesn't know who she's having her affair with......

Would Leeanne really be that arsed about toyah? Good for Simon and she's not in love with peter anyway now is she? I could see it being quite positive really ... ignores the dramatic edge the script writers want and as for andy and Steph is it really a loss if they go? Prefer andy to Steph anyway her constant nostril flare irritates TBH

I can't understand why they've fobbed off Simon with a tale about Leanne visiting Janice, instead of telling him she's in hospital. He's 13 for goodness sake. Unless he's very stupid he's bound to find out anyway.

The Mary story is stupid. She may not get on with her son etc. Wouldn't she go for a holiday first.
