The last thread is almost full, so I thought we'd be prepared.

Despite the title I do love the Blackpool week really Fingers crossed for a nice ballroom dance from the pros.

Was just wondering that Elspeth. Surely they don't get out of costume and then back into it ? But can't be afterwards. So must be an opener ?

We have had people posting spoilers in previous years, or dropping huge hints so it's obvious who it is.

I think they record all the group dances before the main live show. I'm pretty sure someone who has been says the audience have to be at the studio by about 4pm so that they can record stuff like the pro dances and the singing guests before the main show goes out.

Was it just me or was the camera work all over the place in that group dance?

I think they film all the group dances before the main Saturday show starts.

I'm another one who checks the results on Saturday night and I would never even hint at it on this thread , but 2 weeks running now someone ( not necessarily the same person) has hinted at the result late on Saturday or during Sunday , it's just not acceptable .

emotions I think the camerawork was meant to mirror the way it is in the film, but didn't really work.

Oh and costume changes really don't take long. From what I'm told at the big competitions, where you might have only 5 minutes between your different classes in the early rounds, the competitors literally get into the dressing room, strip down to their underwear, put on the next outfit and go. There's no shyness or modesty!

Make up stays the same and hair might have minor tweaks like taking down an up do or putting a wig on.

no surprise there - can they even be voted off?

Gosh it's an awful lot of work to keep a group dance in your head when you're competing later on.

Has anyone here been? I want to know how they keep the crowd entertained during costume changes.

Oh Claudia no!! I mean, I thought it might be because she was all off and out of time but I will be really glad to see the routine again

I predict Claudia & Greg in the dance off.
