SCD 2016 #7 - They're! In! Blackpool! The spiritual home of ballroom dancing, donkey rides, rock and... huge amounts of theming apparently?

The last thread is almost full, so I thought we'd be prepared.

Despite the title I do love the Blackpool week really Fingers crossed for a nice ballroom dance from the pros.

Judge is a natural at Salsa!

I thought Bob was over marked too. Totally bland dance

I didn't really love the salsa, tbh. Although possibly because the colours made my tv cry bit.

I think it will be Greg and possibly Claudia in the bottom two this week. Other than Greg I don't think anyone who's left in has done he dance off have they ? So it will be a new experience for whoever it is.
I think if Greg is in the dance off then he will go sadly (unless it's Rinder or Ed along with him but they both have big followings so I doubt it).

Maybe they don't like travelling to Blackpool. They all seem a bit weary to me.

And judge Rinder as much as I like him really is trying too hard for the public vote.

Greg will be OK.

I gave all my votes to Rinder - not because I loved the dance (although from my very limited knowledge the actual salsa bits seemed well done) but because his complaint in the VT about the "tenuous link" between his fear of lifts and the fairground ride made me yell "Hell Yes!" in an embarrassingly loud manner.

Claudia was very poor, Danny was ringertastic in a dance that was always going to suit him (and Oti was awesome) and I've seen many dances worse than Ed's getting better marks than he did.

It all felt a bit flat tonight. Has something gone wrong/bad happened? Everything just seemed a little 'off'.

I am used to it after watching the jumping... those 'costumes' don't leave anything to the imagination!

Danny and Otis was good but I prefer the funnier charlestons- mind you cloudias was my fave this series.

I think they got their money's worth out of Neil tonight; was he in all the dances?! I couldn't recognise Chloe (always find the women harder as it depends so much on the hair!)

And agree hey should have put Claudia in trainers for that dance and theme. Be good to see without the mistake if she is in the dance off.

Really enjoyed tonight apart from Kevin's Paso jig I half expected him to go into lord of the dance was very odd.

I didn't follow the thread this week and I think I liked it more than most people!

Danny and Oti, fantastic, quite liked Balls, thought Greg was pretty good this week, even Louise managed to carry it off.

Claudia a bit leaden looking, Ore good but not great, the Judge the same- also his facial gurning was back. I though the Judge's attitude to going on the ride was funny though, as it didn't have anything to do with anything, he was right!

Definitely some over marking going on . Danny was brilliant and I've also voted for Ed and Greg because I like them , I think Greg will be in the dance off unfortunately but I'd like to see Louise or Ore in it so one of them would have to go .
