The last thread is almost full, so I thought we'd be prepared.

Despite the title I do love the Blackpool week really Fingers crossed for a nice ballroom dance from the pros.

Sticks in.my throat but loved Oti and Danny Charleston was the best of the night

i voted for ed and greg and claudia although watned to vote for ore because he didnt get such a loud cheer imo

i wonder if Katya will be told or has been told to tone it down, ed's dance was more sober this week.

Don't they all go and get totally shit faced after they film the results show? I'd live to be a fly on that wall.

I think the best performers tonight were Chloe and Neil (is that right? The ginger spare dancer), goodness they worked hard!

I thought Ed's performance was a genuine attempt to perform the dance and the marking in comparison to the others was dreadful. He got all my votes tonight.

Didn't Craig give Ed a 4? That was ridiculous a 4 tut

Ed should be in the dance off if we are talking best and worst dances rather than personality. He was awful this week

Really really really hate the cries of "under marked!" from the other pros that has started.

A 9 is not under marking, FFS.

It's not about best and worst dances though. The vote is for who you want to see next week.

I enjoyed the show - agree that Claudia and AJ were overmarked and Ed is trying his heart out and should've scored more.

Before this point I tend to vote for people I like that I worry will go out. Now I vote for those whose dances I enjoyed, unless they're in the top spot.

So tonight I voted for Greg & Nat x 2 and Rob & Oksana x 1.

Ed got all my votes this week.

The rest of it felt a bit meh to me...

I think rinder and Claudia will be in the bottom two.

I really enjoyed the show, despite expecting more from all the couples. I expected Claudia and AJ to pull out all the gymnastics and perfectionism, I expected more entertainment or hilarity from Ed and Katya and something really special from Danny and Oti.

I loved every shot of Aljãz though, he seems to enjoy every dance and and and and he should be mine.

I think it will be out of Claudia, Greg and Rinder - which is why I voted for Claudia and the judge

Craig was on ITT yesterday saying something like 'we've just got to get rid of Ed now', hence I suspect the low marking, really unfair gap between him and the rest given some of the dances, frankly.

Did anyone notice the male backing dancer (with the hair) who danced on the right hand side of Judge Rinder? He was absolutely superb. I was watching him more than anybody else.

The panel in IT2 reckoned that Rinder will be out. I love the way he told the audience what for; he wants to take over Len's role!

I enjoyed it mostly. Though why does Craig consistently under mark poor Ed? I loved the Chorus Line Dance .

Loved Darcey's dress (she has more style and dress sense in her little finger than Tess has in her whole body ) wtf was Tess thinking wearing another dayglo red dress with weird shoulders? Had the dressmaker run out of material?

I noticed 228 he was absolutely fab

I honestly don't know how Tess manages to get such cr*p frocks week in-weekout. I've only ever seen her in one that looked attractive. All of the others are god-awful.

Has she no mirror in her dressing room? Does she have no friends who will tell her? Does everyone in wardrobe hate her guts?

And she has wonky boobs. Now, I know a lot of ladies have wonky boobs (I don't have any at all, so I wouldn't know what it's like) but surely a well-cut dress would disguise mammaries which are less than level.

I think that they must lose a lot of rehearsal time in Blackpool week, what with all the "humourous" VTs they film etc.

Does anybody know how the marking works?

So if votes are 1221 & 2176 & 2889 etc does that mean 1 and 2 and 3 points to be added to the judge points

So if Ed gets 1 point from judges but most votes then that is 7 = 8

And Danny has 7 points and gets least amount of votes so gets 1 = 8

How can that work?

It was a shame the 'humerous' VTs re-emerged, it was better last week seeing them rehearse. They just aren't funny, they are cheesy.

That's how it works Kanga, which is why the mid-table often end up in the dance off because the people at the bottom and the top tend to attract the votes.

I think someone who was second on the leaderboard ended up in the dance off once, must have got the least number of public votes.

They put all three couples from the semi-final through one year because the top two had tied and it would have meant the bottom one going out no matter what the public vote was. The couple that would have gone out won the final!
