SCD 2016 #7 - They're! In! Blackpool! The spiritual home of ballroom dancing, donkey rides, rock and... huge amounts of theming apparently?

The last thread is almost full, so I thought we'd be prepared.

Despite the title I do love the Blackpool week really Fingers crossed for a nice ballroom dance from the pros.

Am I the only one who finds Judge Rinder's face annoying? Lol.

These scores are a load of bollocks.

Rinder seems to be in either gushing mode or sneery-weary mode. Both grate.

Ok am voting Greg tonight.

Also, Team Balls all the way :D

That marking for Ed compared to the others was just spiteful.

I would like to see Greg and Louise in the dance off.

The judges want rid of Ed but I love him. I also would like to keep Rinder as I think he had a poor week but better than some others.

Most dances were poor this week despite the stonking marks.

Who do you think is going tonight( or tomorrow.... need to keep up the pretence)?

I thought most of the evening was a bit meh and overhyped if I'm honest

I think the public will keep Ed in (I don't think he should be) so suspect Greg and Claudia in the bottom two. Maybe Louise.

Greg was poor, Bob was poor, ore wasn't brilliant.

i don't know who to vote for. No-one has been outstanding, the judges have overmarked (except for Ed), and the atmosphere has been quite flat. Blackpool week should be better, IMHO.

I can't be arsed to name change but Greg is my brother in law. He is a thoroughly nice chap....

I think Blackpool is always a bit shit anf overhyped. With the odd exception like Anita and Gleb or Kevin and Susanna from a few years ago, there haven't reslly been any classic stand out dances from Blackpool week.

I voted 2 x Claudia and once for Rinder.

I feel about Rinder how everyone else seems to feel about old Ballsy. Love a tryer.

I think Claudia and maybe Greg , but who knows after this week?

Bottom two for me were Greg and rob. Rob to go through.

I wonder if somehow the acoustics don't work quite right for TV at Blackpool and thus make all the music feel weirder than normal, which obviously has an impact on the routines.

And just once I'd like to see Kevin do something toned down and simple. That little snippet of his & Louise's dance was so overblown.

I am voting 2x for Ed and 1x for Greg. I like Claudia too. Hope Louise and Danny Mac are in bottom two (they won't be). Cannot stand Danny.

It all felt a bit flat tonight. Has something gone wrong/bad happened? Everything just seemed a little 'off'.
