Trailer of lots of people with angst and not Phil Collins here. There's another trailer on the Homeland FB page but I can't find a non-FB page to link to. 15th January in US so I reckon 22nd for us - it's usually a week later.

So - Salieri/Dar Adul features prominently and Carrie has some issues with him. Someone's having a torch shone on their pupils - does that mean Quinn's alive but non-responsive? Baby Brodie is now school-aged. Could I be more excited?

And to make it worse, I actually LOVE invisible ink. I loved it when I was a kid, and I love it now. I even convinced my DS that he wanted a spy party so that I could play invisible ink with more children.

Onion juice works, lemon juice, milk. And, er, semen. But there's one of this list that I've not tried...

I've imposed a total news blackout. I just cannot cope with the awfulness. I'm aware that as long-term strategies go it's not really viable - although maybe my news blackout can last till the impeachment if I work on it.

And Lweji - I should apologise too for my "no spoilers goddamit" hissy fit when a) you'd only posted a spoiler in invisible ink and b) I actually posted a spoiler I'd managed to forget about way back in November, thus making me a big fat Trump-denying hypocrite, so sorry.

Ooh ooh ooh!! Is this really true? We've never managed to watch Homeland 'live' - we've always been at least a season behind, catching up on DVD. DH and I gave each other Season Five for Christmas and binge watched the whole thing in five days last week - I had no idea a new series was due out so soon!! You've made my week!
