Trailer of lots of people with angst and not Phil Collins here. There's another trailer on the Homeland FB page but I can't find a non-FB page to link to. 15th January in US so I reckon 22nd for us - it's usually a week later.

So - Salieri/Dar Adul features prominently and Carrie has some issues with him. Someone's having a torch shone on their pupils - does that mean Quinn's alive but non-responsive? Baby Brodie is now school-aged. Could I be more excited?

Spoiler alert ahead re the last series!!!!!!!

I thought Claire killed Quinn out of kindness, a mercy killing? Also I love that they introduce new strong female characters, Hassled and this politician looks great - though I hope she doesn't have an embarrassing affair (the weak point of the last series I thought, though the standards were stellar, so hardly weak).

This will distract my mind from the Trump inauguration.

Can there be any more depressing words spoken as the credits roll than "Homeland will be back for another series in two years' time"? (or however long it's been). DH and I have been bereft.

I also firmly believe that handsome Quinn cannot be dead. Although I didn't believe it when Brodie died either.

I can't find a confirmed release date, much to my annoyance. Channel 4 seem to be running through all the previous series here, although you can't play all episodes yet and I don't really understand if it's also on actual TV) and that finishes on the 29th Jan, so I wonder if they'll start Season 6 after that? If so it'll be later than normal - usually there is only 1 week between US and UK airing.

Catching the odd teaser on my FB feed.

Is it just me, or in todays (centring on Dar Adal), is that Miranda Otto/Alison Carr briefly in the background ? Where Saul is having a go at Dar saying "DId you have me tailed .... who else in this office have been tailing ?"

Possible flashback (which might explain any Quinn sightings) ???

At this stage I'm seriously starting to worry it won't be on UK TV. I just can't find it anywhere - have looked at various TV listings pages. If anyone has any success, can you let us know?

Noel at Channel 4 has sent possibly the most useless reply ever. Doesn't he understand how important this is, FFS? Where are your priorities, Noel? I don't want vagueness, I want cold hard facts.
