So, Sophie Giroux returned pretending to be Alice Webster. DNA results on the body in the shed confirm she is related to Sam.

Baptiste has found out about Henry Reed and the Brigadier being involved with a 9 year old girl in Iraq in 1991. Henry Reed was paying this girls brother.

There are 3 girls in the rollercoaster photo, Sophie, Alice and possibly the girl from Iraq? She has that colouring.

Henry Reed apparently committed suicide although Julien told Daniel he didn't. Whatever Daniel found out about him made him sick.

Nadia has been badly beaten and her husband is still in prison after being identified by Sophie/Alice. Matthew was made to promise to say sorry to the butcher.

Sophie is now in Switzerland. As is the newly spray painted yellow campervan that abducted Alice. Gemma and Baptiste doubt the DNA results as they are still looking for answers 2 years after she returned.

Birds keep being mentioned. Sophie and Alice both had the Web tattoo on their wrists.

We do t know that Henry was one of the Iraq 3.qe know the he was there, but we don't know that he is part of the 'What the 3 of did to that girl'. We only know Brig, and we suspect:

Henry
Aldi
Driller Killer
Sam...

Maybe Sophie killed the whole camper van family apart from their dog?

Gemma said Sam wasn't there when Alice was a baby and it would fit with Iraq timeline plus all the Army people we see seemed to be linked. Sure he was there.

Do we know what job Sophie's dad did? Alice and Lena would have been known to the Army baddies so wondering how a French girl fits in with this. WAS he in the Army too?

There wasn't much blood after brain-drilling, was there?

Sam and Brig don't appear to know each other. Met twice now and no sneaky looks. Outside hospital 2014 and Sam looked after Brig in 2016 while eve went to rollercoaster park

When Sam was looking after Brig, Eva's dad, he mentioned something about him being a tank commander in Iraq didn't he?? So recognising he remembered him from being out there?

So if Sophie was taken and 2002 and Alice in 2003 then there is a big gap with Lena being taken in 2008.

If Lena died in fire in 2014, why are her glasses in the campervan in 2016

Outside the hospital brig was very quick to get eve back inside. Very short and rude. Almost like he was purposely blanking Sam.

I think Alice is dead in shed as proven by DNA, Lena is dead, possibly on Swiss fire but not necessarily, Sophie is fakeAlice - alive obviously. No idea about any of the rest of it. Roll on next week....

I thought the Brig looked at him funnily outside the hospital, then told Eve to get inside (to which she said "yes, sir", which I thought was a bit odd)

Margotlovestom well done for identifying the press officer in response to my question about who was left in the army to carry on the cover up. Was so thrilled - positively squealed and had to confess to DH about our deliberations on here (he couldn't believe I'd been involved in such detailed discussions). Sophie/Alice is still in Switzerland with the third girl's glasses so I'm guessing the child is all alone at the house with the press officer. I still think the body in the shed was Alice - why would they bother burning the third girl's body in there? No one was looking for her anyway. We're pretty sure it was Sophie who came back and not Alice (due to French speaking ability and finger twitching). How did the van get to Switzerland - assuming she can't drive due to years in basement? Why would press officer drive there and then leave the van there - how would he get back? I was going to ask why we need another three episodes, but I think I've just answered my own question.

Sophie must be involved as she is with campervan in Switzerland. Driller killer kidnapper is in Germany.

The log cabin burning - that was vengeful, not just getting rid of evidence, wasn't it? if it was solely evidence-related, the leg and body, and glasses, would have just been torched in the van. Obviously the dog would be at a safe distance But the staring into the flames, and the throwing on of the glasses, it was like a funeral pyre. Hmmmm.

Could Ilse be Alice?

I thought there was a similar look about them but Ilse was born as Fredrik

I think dead body is Lena (DNA somehow faked), real Alice (who we haven't seen dice disappearing) is still being held somewhere and fake Alice (Sophie) is part of "it" - whatever "it" is.
