Lesley danced better, Daisy worse. But Daisy's dance was still better than Lesley's.

Aw. I feel really sorry for Anton actually. He finally had a reasonably good dancer.

I noticed lots of mistakes in Daisy's routine, too. But the judges still kept them in. Despite supposedly being their decision on the dance off only - har, har, har)

This is what that Tango piece should sound like, though it's actually an old Jazz number that Gotan Project have reinterpreted. Naturally the BBC House Band can't quite do it justice!

I'm going to miss Lesley she was this years highlight.

She's about 7ft tall and very photogenic. She also has an "edge" I think, having been Gavin Rossdale's secret daughter with musician Pearl Lowe.

In a way, I'm glad that Lesley wasn't getting the patronising vote ("she's great for 71/game old bird" etc etc).

Yes Daisy did make visible mistakes. Poor Lesley. Anton was very lovely. Still, it's Halloween week next week and that's always a giggle.

Yeah but 2kids, even with mistakes it was still better than Lesley's routine that was as best as she could make it

Yes Brain. But I just feel that he is the pro dancer who gets the outsiders all the time. Lesley was fantastic and should not have been there tonight on dancing ability.

I'm sad to see Lesley go. I know she wasn't the best but she was bringing out a good side of Anton I think. He seems chilled this year.

I'm finding Alijaz's routines a bit meh this season.
And Daisy, whilst terribly nice also seems terrible dull.

I really love Claudia & AJ, and I thought Ana seemed much more comfortable with Gorka.

I positively squawked With horror when Ed nearly dropped Katya. It was horrific. I'm ok with him going now.

I share this every year on the SCD threads, but I bloody love Gotan Project! They're a modern French Tango band/group but they put a spin on it by using electronic/synths.

This is my favourite piece of theirs, I discovered it (and them) when watching cheesy dance film Shall We Dance, which this clip is taken from.

I think the series often make us of the Gotan Project - it's almost the go-to band for tango. And all on i-tunes...

What on earth was Daisy doing in the D-off? And her authentic reactions to dancing again and attachment to Lesley makes me like her all the more, def. my favourite.

The nice thing about catch up, for me, is not having to bear one second of Rinder - the sort of face one would never get sick of kicking. Even when you're really tired of it.

Like Halloween week - they all look sexy/evil.
