New thread, boring title

Ore is annoying me SO much. He's got that fake over emotion and smugness like peter andre, makes me want to throw stuff at the TV.

I'm so glad it's not just me. He was so obviously trying to wring a tear out yesterday evening, it was embarrassing. He's a good dancer so I don't want him to go, but I do wish he'd be just a tad more grown-up about the whole thing.

I'm worried that my nightmare will come to pass - a dance-off between Lesley/Anton and Greg/Natalie, neither of whom I want to go. I love watching Lesley, and she doesn't trade on the whole 'look how good I am for my age' thing which she so easily could. I usually hate the hackneyed term 'inspiration', but I really do find her inspirational. And I love Natalie and want her to stay, so I guess that means Greg needs to stay too! I'm already looking forward to seeing her partner one of the Brownlee brothers next year.

I was a bit underwhelmed last night, to be honest, and I agree there was a lot of over-marking going on. I don't find EB funny or endearing in the least. I wish people would stop voting for him - I'll be very cross if Greg or Lesley goes out instead of him this evening.

We don't know that anyone at all is voting for Louise. From the positions she's had on the leader board it's mathematically possible that she/Ore/Danny could have literally zero votes between them. (Speaking pre-Results Show here).

Evil where was Louise on the Leader Board this week?

When the contestants thin out a bit you can usually make an educated guess who the public are voting for maybe we will see more of a trend after Blackpool?

This series feels a bit flat to me, there is definitely not the buzz around it that there was last year, maybe it's the mix of celebrities or the new professionals being 'unknown quantities' I don't know but something seems to be missing.

Ore really does need to stop the weeping and over emotional gushing, it's getting on my nerves now almost as much as the Orange One's continual references to his 'kids' last year and I think it will turn the public off if he keeps doing it.

Louise was third from top

I'm still enjoying this year more than last year, even with illness, injury and random drama. Last year I was entirely consumed by my deep loathing of Orange Pete, and when he finally got booted out (about four weeks after he should have been) I suddenly felt a bit deflated and aimless. I didn't have a favourite, or even much of a preference about who should be in the final.

This year is much more positive for me, the overall standard is much higher so I'm enjoying the dancing more. And there's Gorka, obviously.

I think because they've started so well we're not getting the pleasure of watching them improve.

Sorry, just love Ore. Agree about the tears thing, but he is so gorgeous and so graceful.

Don't understand why Katya choreographed that lift for Ed. it wasn't necessary. She knows he's not very good. Why can't she just give him a decent simple routine that gets him some 6s?

I love Daisy and hopefully she'll go all the way through, but am rapidly developing a very unexpected interest in Greg.

I've finally watched last nights, my thoughts are:

Lesley, Greg, Ed - all made mistakes and any one of them could go
Rinder - love him and could easily watch
Daisy - hated the styling, clothing, her hair and make up looked awful. Could be in danger.
Louise - boring boring boring. Needs to have a few glasses of something to loosen up before coming in.
Danny - didn't like his rhumba, he moved his hips in a weird way that was out of time to the music.
Ore - liked it but safe.
Claudia - I love her, so much energy etc but AJ fucked it up for her. Think she could get to the final.

The whole show seemed to be lacking a bit of energy though, or exciting routines etc. I like to be able to see the progression in the dancers, not just week after week of good but safe routines a la louise and danny

I loved Daisy's outfit! So nice to see something different to the usual hyperfemininity.
Agree AJ fucked up by making it too fast. Also agree they need to give Louise a large glass of champagne about half an hour before she goes on

I enjoyed that. Although I thought we were going to see Len dance. Sad that we didn't.

The fit ginger is Neil, Katya's husband and the spare male pro.

Hated that pro dance. Their facial expressions were so offputting.

I agree that Ed is being marked in the same category as Widdicombe, which he isn't. Yes he's the joke candidate but not half as bad as her, Russell Grant etc. Shouldn't be getting 2s.
I enjoyed Daisy's dance. And though I try not to, due to the ringer stuff, I like watching Danny. He's also far more modest than I expected him to be. In a purely aesthetic comment, I preferred Joanne's hair red.

Loved the opening group dance to Thoroughly modern Milly.
Who was the dark haired woman in the red frilled tiered skirt and pink blouse, she was so elegant and expressive.
I didn't recognise them in their outfits and wigs.

Danny- annoys me for some reason. His only saving grace is that his partner is the lovely Oti.
Louise- needs more than a bottle of
