Aliona was annoying, moody, sulky, pouty and generally a bit of a pain in the neck but she had an inner darkness that managed to produce some really emotionally and/or sexually charged dances. The Clifton siblings have the inner darkness of eight year olds at Disneyland and I do get a bit bored with their endlessly cute and bouncy routines with cutesy costumes and happy endings.

I'm curious about the process for choosing a new pro for Strictly.

I don't think I've ever seen Joanne or Kevin or even Karen do a properly sexy dance with a celeb (and heaven knows Kevin has had enough opportunity). I'll be interested to see Joanne's Rumba and Argentine Tango with Ore - I hope she goes for it after the pastel horror of their Tango.

Kevin is oddly sexless

Monster I mean what kind of qualifications they look for, how they audition, that kind of thing.

I am glad others on here also thought Ore's waltz was a bit clumpy - it was definitely not worth the scores! If Danny danced like that, he would have been widely criticised and scored low

Louise's rumba was good but strangely sex less

Poor Greg - have broken my rule of only voting in the final to make sure one bad dance doesn't end it for him

I also love the neckline of Louise's dress this week and last (it was very similar). No idea what you would call it but I would love a dress with a neckline like that for my Christmas party

Another one agreeing with TimTam's post. When Aliona and Jay were dancing the chemistry/friendship was so powerful that the dance became far more than the sum of its parts. I have never found a single Clifton dance remotely compelling or sexy. Kevin looks like he's permanently dancing with his sister.

Monkseal's review of Kevin's performance last week had me WEEPING with laughter, but probably due to the Buffy reference - if you are a Buffy fan too, Monkseal, I love you even more.

That Argentine tango was fantastic, I love a healthy dose of distain in any tango, perhaps a touch of danger and a very strong implication that they despise each other but will shag like bunnies anyway.

Ok, am a bit mystified and intrigued - what's the MN beef with the Cliftons?
I agree Ore was over-marked; my comment to DH was that his waltz looked clunky and too muscular. Loved his jive last week though.
Akso really liked Ana's foxtrot; thought it was utterly charming, although I agree that her American-style lack of self-deprecation sits uncomfortably within the UK show.
Gorka seemed to have injected her with some pep!

I LOVE Joanne, her choreography is good and she thinks about what suits her partner. I'm not sure that Anton does or Katya or AJ , though he's young. Kevin's ok too.
