New thread, boring title

I enjoyed Friday's ITT which I watched on iPlayer yesterday evening - thanks for the heads-up ppeat. I love Jodie Prenger (has it ever been hinted that she's going to be a Strictly contestant?) and I hadn't come across Marian Keyes before but I thought she was brilliant, and so funny about Pasha. And I enjoyed seeing the birthday message from Pauline Quirke and Linda Robson as well. I'm a long-time Birds of a Feather fan and in fact a fan of P&L since they did Pauline's Quirks in the dark ages 1970s.

I don't have time to watch ITT every evening but I might try to keep up with the Friday one from now on.

Really, really hoping that Ed Balls leaves this week. I don't find him funny at all, just embarrassing.

Moonrise I think I prefer Chloe to Katya, she has a slightly unpleasant look about her.

Oooh poor Ed. I think it was the stupid costume and theme that hampered him. He's a better dancer than annoying Judy Murray and J. Vine last year. (I know that's not saying much !) He tries soooo hard

The 2 weakest celebs are Ed Balls and Greg.

This year seems really unpredictable. Someone like Laura who gets good scores but isn't so popular could be in bottom two again. I think Anastacia or Ed will be out.

I'm looking forward to Lesley and Anton's tango.

I think Anastasia is weaker than Greg. It's a tough one to call this week

I'm very happy to be seeing Gorka dance again tomorrow, obviously I wish Brendan all the best too and hope he's fighting fit again for the following Saturday.

Does anyone else think that Brendan and Gorka are very similar in dance style? It didn't really occur to me until Gorka took over this week for Brendan, but he reminds me a lot of when Brendan was younger in the early series of Strictly.

Anastacia / ed / Laura and maybe lesley in trouble this week I think. Daisy / ore / Danny / Louise pretty safe. There's a few I've forgotten so perhaps they are in trouble too!

Yes that description suits Katya very well Did your see ITT last night ? Robert Rinder doing 20 brilliant press ups was priceless. Katya got into that too by pushing him down to make it more difficult

Thanks for those clips, Kimmy. I remember the Rule Britannia episode very well, but I'd forgotten the name of the series so I've never been able to look it up. I was also beginning to think it was a figment of my imagination, because Linda was on one of Gareth Malone's choir programmes recently saying that she'd never sung in her life and she was really nervous.

I'm sorry that Brendan's ill and we won't see him this week. I can't help thinking that it's going to be curtains for Anastacia this week, and a bit of a rest for Brendan.

I think that without Brendan there Anastasia will go tonight. Then I'd be happy to see Ed go next week

I wonder if Anastasia will be more gently judged because of the enforced change of partner?

I've just Laura's not dancing this week - getting a bye to next week due to an ankle injury apparently

It does feel unusually incident prone, I agree Soupy. We're not even that far into it and lots has gone wrong. Apparently quite a few of the other pros now have flu-like symptoms now as well as Brendan.
