For those who loved it last time, will you watch after the let down of the ending? (Well I felt it was a let down, don't think there was a proper conclusion at all and still room for doubts as to whether he was still alive or not).

I loved it though and will definitely be watching the next series. I've seen the trailer and it looks very very good. Julian (think that was his name) is still in it. Looks like it is based on JayCee Dugard/Elizabeth Fritz type cases where they have gone missing as children and reappeared years later.

Because he doesn't know that butcher didn't do it. Alice-Sophie didn't tell him what she was apologising for. She said to him he wouldn't like having to do it (apologise) but had to promise that he would.

It doesn't make total sense to assault her. But she does have connections with the army and I suspect that perhaps the abductor and army are seperate in the beginning. There's no link between Sophie and the army is there?

So at some point there becomes a cross over that assumably from the Turtle story involved the Brig.

Did the Brig organise Butcher Herz's conviction to 'get back at former (sergeant?) Nadia Herz? Daniel was rude to Mrs Herz. Did he know she was involved in something his dad was paying for? Maybe Daniel's dad paid hush-money to Mrs H because she knew about some S+M preferences he had?

I don't think the brigadier is going to end up being involved with it at all - apart from there being a cock up at the time - he was police when she went missing. Theres too many episodes left for us to be focusing on him at the end of episode 2
