For those who loved it last time, will you watch after the let down of the ending? (Well I felt it was a let down, don't think there was a proper conclusion at all and still room for doubts as to whether he was still alive or not).

I loved it though and will definitely be watching the next series. I've seen the trailer and it looks very very good. Julian (think that was his name) is still in it. Looks like it is based on JayCee Dugard/Elizabeth Fritz type cases where they have gone missing as children and reappeared years later.

I don't get how the real Alice in that photograph on the rollercoaster could pass for the Alice which turned up. They look nothing alike. I thought they were meant to look similar.

How did we know that Sophie was pregnant before abduction? I might have zoned out but just thought she was talking about it all happening during being held. I still think that if she was so obviously preggers that people saw it in the clip then they would have known and at least baptiste would have know/suspected and said something by now to someone, particularly if he thought it was Sophie (oh, Sophie may have been preggers at abduction and this girl has had a baby, extra reason to dna)

I think there are so many not do related things to come out like Eve's baby and whatever Sam did that we'll get one of those each week so we feel we've found something out even though it's not to do with the case

By the way, who was it we saw getting pulled into the van at the very beginning of the first episode? Was that Sophie?

I'm still confused but I'm assuming this now means we know that the returned girl is NOT Alice as the mum saw her next to returned girl. So she may even be alive still.

Mr Herz is in prison so he was obviously convicted but it seems like she might be apologising as she wrongly identified him? Again, something to do with the Brig? He must have known that the returned girl wasn't Alice, which leads to thinking he had contact.

Argh. Help!

Surely thst wouldn't make sense even if it where a picture of two girls. One did have short back and sides didn't they? Maybe Alice became Alex when Sophie became Alice. Dunno where any of the babies are either.

The girl on the right in the photo clearly had the face of the girl who returned and claimed to be Alice. So Gemma was saying 'no, not the one you think of as Alice, the other one', i.e. girl in blue on the left. Gemma wasn't sure that the returned girl was Alice, but as soon as she saw the photo of the real Alice, she knew that was her daughter, not the girl who returned.

Not sure I've explained that very clearly!

The brigadiers daughter said "that's Alice" as the girl who returned was clear in the picture so that's the one she recognised. Then Gemma said no, the one next to her is Alice, she had long hair, it was flying up because of the rollercoaster. So it was Alice and Sophie in the picture and Sophie was the one who came back, saying she was Alice.

Julien may not have known Sophie was pregnant. I didn't spot it in the video. Don't forget he never met her.

I'm more horrified at the fact they have gravy in a bowl with a spoon rather than a jug, than who was abducted!!

I thought the rollercoaster photo was going to show the person who held them. I still think Brig got Alice pregnant before she was taken and it was set up to get rid of the problem so he didn't get found out.....what happened after I'm not sure. Also not sure if the fact that blue jumper Alice looked like a man is relevant?

Right, so I just re watched bits. Basically, I got very distracted the 1st time around by the tableware. It's from ikea, mostly, and I was spotting g what I have that is the same. For info, the glasses (pokal?), and the salt and pepper grinders. Actually, the latter are really good.

Anyway, y ' all were right re saw, baby etc etc. It was chilling watching it back, as you could definitely read that she was speaking at the table from the pov of someone who was soon to end their life.

As my penance for being so distracted (and yes, also bu the meat in gravy, that looked like it had been microwaved), I give you 2 pics, pregnant sophie? and sophie and Alice probably.

Wonder if Alice Alice is still alive, and as stated up Sophie had a baby called Alice who died that she was talking about not being fed.

Also does everyone still hate Aldi Woman. I feel so sorry for her. Pretty sure the Butcher was set up and is innocent.

I doubt the baby was called Alice. I think Sophie and Alice were held together. Sophie has escaped and claimed she is Alice. Alice is either still being held captive or she has already died.
