I hated Elvis at first but love him now. The special ops uniform helps!

moojangles · 28/09/2016 22:09

He did and I was warming to him but then he went it to me, me, me mode. Georgie needs to bin the lot of them

MaQueen · 28/09/2016 22:10

I love the way that Georgie and Elvis seem so at ease with each other. Whereas it seems very awkward between her and Jamie.

Rhubarb01 · 28/09/2016 22:11

Dr Bland's keeping it quiet about himself and Judy isn't he! Obviously a bit of history there. His little eyes lit up and it was all very awkward.

Yeah, I think Jamie will end up with Judy, and Georgie will run off with Elvis on her wedding day.

Firegirl · 28/09/2016 22:13

So I haven't been on here for a few days but been keeping an eye. My first thoughts are I missed the army gear, nothing until thirty minutes in, Fingers, CJ and Elvis in civvies just doesn't cut it! But good plot line this episode, and also it leaves me not sure who she's going to end up with. I would have preferred Georgie a bit more involved in the Manchester action, but I suppose she's still recuperating. And who else LOVED Elvis climbing through her window again, after the drama in the town centre, why didn't she leap up and hug him, I would have!

Firegirl · 28/09/2016 22:16

Hang on rhu did CJ say "wife"? So he and Molly are married now?!

Rhubarb01 · 28/09/2016 22:17

Yes he did Firegirl - I have subtitles on and he said "My wife's a serving soldier" and you can bet it wasn't Rebecca!!

I feel the same as you rhu, I'm a bit hmm. I found the tunnels under the house amusing too, maybe they had a toilet down there, so you could have been right about Abu being on the loo during the air strike.

Pretty sure that I spotted CJ wearing a wedding ring in cafe scene.

Rhubarb01 · 28/09/2016 22:19

Also when Dr Bland introduced Georgie to Judy he referred to her as his "Partner" not his "Fiancee" and I thought that was odd. He didn't want to say they were getting married.

Good point Rhu. I didn't pick up on that. I don't think he's all sweetness and light.

Rhubarb01 · 28/09/2016 22:22

An underground toilet heli ha ha ha! Definitely!

It was so obvious that Judy fancied Jamie. Something happened between them in the past, JJ = Jamie and Judy perhaps?

Firegirl · 28/09/2016 22:26

D'you know what, MaQueen, I think I make you right re your predictions. Jamie with Judy, and Elvis with Georgi on her wedding day. Hope he climbs through her window again.

Rhubarb01 · 28/09/2016 22:30

Is that a euphemism firegirl?

I have to say it certainly looks like Georgie's about to cast off her frock and, wait for it, stand Dr Jamie up at the altar and if Judy is invited as one of the guests....crying on her shoulder and all that!

Seriously though?

OP posts:
Ilovelblue · 28/09/2016 22:30

I've said it before Firegirl but he could climb in through my window any day!

KeziaOAP · 28/09/2016 22:32

Liked the scene when EH came through the window again.... presume he shimmied up the drainpipe Hmm Do we believe GL leaves the army seeing as TG would like her to do more?

Have a relative who's a Tutor at St. George's, she's also a massive fan of BA especially his musical theatre work. Will have to ask questions about the filming Smile

Firegirl · 28/09/2016 22:35

Rhubarb and Ilove, all I said was climbing through her window, not dipping a spoon in her coco pops . Honestly.

Ilovelblue · 28/09/2016 22:35

I think most of the filming was done in Manchester Kezia so it's not a foregone conclusion it was actually filmed at the hospital?

Rhubarb01 · 28/09/2016 22:36

I would have thought it unlikely that Georgie would leave the army - she's only doing it for Dr Bland, to please her family and because sly sister keeps saying she has to move on and never think of Elvis again. If Dr Bland isn't in the picture she won't leave the army - and as mentioned above TG would like to do another series with her and I can't imagine that would be "Georgie and Dr Bland have seven children".

I think it was one of the lecture halls in University of Manchester

Ilovelblue · 28/09/2016 22:41

ice has there been much on Twitter tonight? You know I don't understand how that works.

Rhubarb01 · 28/09/2016 22:48

From my cursory glance at twitter comments etc ilove it appears that to quote a phrase "They're mad for it"

icemistOBE · 28/09/2016 22:53

For an awful moment I thought Judy was going to be some psychiatric consultant and Dr Bland was trying to lure Georgie in to discuss PTSD over the finger buffet.
