Blimey pix we must have the same sort of thoughts - I thought she was a psychiatrist too at first.

MaddieMoo82 · 28/09/2016 23:07

Ok so I know she needed to do the Whitehall thing but I'd never get on with Georgie... You never turn down a finger buffet!
Agree about double dull judy.

Ilovelblue · 28/09/2016 23:10

You might not be able to compete with the false eyelashes either really Maddie......

Rhubarb01 · 28/09/2016 23:10

I would like to get excited over that ice but I'm not sure it will be worth it.

Ok - who would like to lay odds on OG getting another series and a quick decision or even an announcement that it will return 'next year'? Or could I just be getting a little over excited that such a good response would result in another series and not nine months of debate.

Also just one small thought - Does anyone else feel like our little secret is finally out?

Favourite bit - CJ in the cafe. Least favourite dull Jamie in the cafe/Georgies mum.

Ilovelblue · 28/09/2016 23:12

Sorry Rhu which of our secrets? We have them a-plenty.

MaddieMoo82 · 28/09/2016 23:13

Yes ilove my complete lack of wearing any makeup would shock her to the core.

Rhubarb01 · 28/09/2016 23:15

ilove - simply "Our Girl".

Plus if I wrote a story that was not about CJ and Molly would all the Elvis haters lynch me, in a virtual sense. I hasten to add my family are begging me not to do this and I expect it would be a huge mistake... hmm!

I quite like Elvis. Gyorgy and him have chemistry, and my guess and hope is Gyorgy will choose him over the boring Dr.

kazzaD66 · 28/09/2016 23:20

I'm sure we'd all love RT point 7 to be a certain someone but I'm guessing they're playing with us and it's Mansfield.

Rhubarb01 · 28/09/2016 23:20

Yes mads I didn't like Dr Bland in the cafe - well either of the cafes to be honest. I thought he was very much in the mode of "I know better" and was it CJ who told him who rescued Georgie.?

Rhubarb01 · 28/09/2016 23:24

Is there anyone out there who prefers Dr Jamie and would like Georgie to end up with him? I'm just curious.

kazzaD66 · 28/09/2016 23:44

I don't think much of either of them but then again, no one can compare to the god that is CJ, and he's got a wife and shiny wedding ring Smile. She should just stick to the army or give Brains a go, he seems smitten Grin Confused

Rhubarb01 · 28/09/2016 23:49

I think the difference with Elvis is that he understands everything about the way Georgie is feeling and why. Dr Jamie doesn't understand what she's experienced at all. I'd love to know how they met - was she on some sort of placement or something?

Ilovelblue · 28/09/2016 23:52

Go for it Rhu. Sounds as if you have something in mind.

You know my view on Dr Jamie. I think CJ was reasonably tight lipped over Elvis' part in the rescue mission. Whe Dr J asked if it was British or Kenyan SF, CJ said nothing and the doctor said was CJ not allowed to reveal it or something like that. I suppose Dr J just put two and two together?

kazzaD66 · 28/09/2016 23:56

I thought GL guessed it was her mum who said something to Dr J. No way was it CJ.

moojangles · 29/09/2016 06:33

I'd read it rhu!!!

Rhubarb01 · 29/09/2016 07:04

It might be a bit of a 'marmite' story mooj - so still pondering!

Thought for the day, however, or at least until lunchtime - in series 1 Molly told Bashira that they were 'soul sisters' and she understood how that little girl was thinking and feeling even though they weren't related and were born other sides of the world. In this series Georgie's sister tells her she's her 'Soulmate' and sorry but she's clueless - pushing her towards a marriage that is so wrong for her!!

Time to get on. I haven't rewatched but will do so later this afternoon and no doubt be back for a chat much later. Have a good day everyone - 'Stay focused, stay alert and stay employed!"

I'm finding this thread hilarious- you'd think everyone was discussing an A-level set text - Jane Austen novel or a Shakespearian tragedy - the amount of analysis and prediction that's going on!

My twopennethworth is that this series is far far weaker than the previous one. I still think Georgie mumbles - too much lip filler maybe? Mutter mutter....

it's like a bad soap. I mean where is the focus on the important political stuff around terror? It's too focused on the love triangle. The realism - or lack of it- is incredible. I mean, would a member of the SAS sneak into his ex's home and discuss plans for the missions? (Even if she is Army.)

There are not enough characters to sink your teeth into, apart from the two main leads. CJ has next to nothing to contribute.

Nope- not a good series this time.

Rhubarb01 · 29/09/2016 08:16

Just one more observation...Debs must be extracting extortionate amounts of child support money from Elvis - I swear he's been wearing the same clothes for the past two years!

Does anyone else think they recognise a familiar face in picture number 5 of the radio times link?

Ilovelblue · 29/09/2016 08:20

London is an expensive place to live and it looked a fairly upmarket area Rhu!??

Rhubarb01 · 29/09/2016 08:25

Fair points polly. I much preferred series one myself. To be honest the majority of our musings, ramblings, predictions, analyses and general conversation are not entirely serious, well barely serious at all - but we've got this far and we're not gonna stop now...we're nearly there Grin

Ilovelblue · 29/09/2016 08:32

If I'd spent this much time on my A level Shakespeare texts polly, I'd have got a better grade!

KeziaOAP · 29/09/2016 08:39

Frank think I know who you mean, is it ......? Won't mention the name.
