Wracking up the tension with the music here.

If the terror threat was so high, surely they'd have closed the shopping centre to the public?

Rhubarb01 · 30/09/2016 21:48

But they wanted to catch them didn't they.

Yes good thinking.

"Rucksack? With my back" Love that - it's what my Mum would have said!!

Rhubarb01 · 30/09/2016 21:50

Once more unto the breach ... that'll be bus then.

Rhubarb01 · 30/09/2016 21:51

If all else fails Elvis can get a job as a bus conductor.

Oooh come on Elvis, climb in through the window again.

Ilovelblue · 30/09/2016 21:53

She doesn't mind a squaddie around (Fingers) but to be honest, at a time like this, an SAS guy wouldn't be a bad sort to have around, whether or not he'd jilted your daughter.

Ilovelblue · 30/09/2016 21:56

Hmmm, don't marry him Georgie, he's a control freak but you haven't realised it yet.

Rhubarb01 · 30/09/2016 21:57

Well the window makes a change from the 'back door' (just quoting series 1)

Nice big..watch..you've got there Elvis.

Even at the last minute she still lies...and by the way that snog with Dr Bland is waaayyy tooooo long - humph not fair we needed much more snogging with other characters Grin

Love Georgie's comment "Not like you to turn up on my wedding day.".

Ilovelblue · 30/09/2016 21:59

It was the IloveRhubarb 60 mins of wittering there ladies. All done now.

Not helped by the fact MN kept freezing. Very frustrating.

I'm tired now Rhu, what about you? It's hard going!

Rhubarb01 · 30/09/2016 22:00

Going to read back all the comments I've missed and just seen that GN is back tonight - that's usually good for a laugh.

If MK/BA/LP etc turn up in a future episode, we may cringe rather than laugh!

Rhubarb01 · 30/09/2016 22:16

I think that it's too late for anyone to be on GN for this series, even if they might have been considered. People on that show are usually promoting a new film, TV show or upcoming tour and this is sadly drawing to a close. Even if it's not been our favourite series it would still be nice to know there's going to be another one to chat about next year... maybe?

Sorry I couldn't join you two. I try and make the twitter thing coincide with Mumsnet. Next week I'm going to go for Saturday, it's just too soon.

On my very tiny self selecting sample on there Mr Dull really isn't popular

icemistOBE · 30/09/2016 23:05

We have lots to discuss on Sun ilove Smile

Huge amount of Elvis love out there. Very few want Georgie to be with Jamie- saw a very different side to him this week. Lots think he will die next week though Confused

Georgie trying to please everyone, but she's not happy.

Rhubarb01 · 30/09/2016 23:10

Nice work from the Ops Tent pixie. It made me chuckle plenty Smile

Sorry ice but are you saying they think Jamie will pop his clogs or ...Elvis?

Georgie just needs to stop listening to all the 'noise' and hear what her heart is telling her...ahhh!

OP posts:
icemistOBE · 30/09/2016 23:11

Sorry, think Elvis will be killed

Ilovelblue · 30/09/2016 23:12

pixie you can class yourself as the OG's very own Mori opinion poll.

Been a busy evening. Entertained my friends' son, wife and two children on their way back from Scotland. It's the first time I've seen their new baby who is just three months old. It was a rush to get home from work, sort the food out and eat before the older one's bedtime. I'd just washed up etc in time for our watchalong.

On a much more serious note, my best friend's husband was rushed into hospital with a suspected heart attack and it was confirmed as such. He's reasonably fit, cycles as a hobby, quite a keen gardener, doesn't overeat or overindulge. Just goes to show, a lot of this is down to luck - Lady Luck as dear CJ would say. I am going round to make sure she's ok tomorrow morning.

Ilovelblue · 30/09/2016 23:14

Totally kn....d so off to bed now (and hopefully a new thread).

Sincerely hope Elvis doesn't pop his clogs on Wednesday. I don't want a re-run of the Smurf debacle.

pixieg1rl · 30/09/2016 23:21

My dad had a mildish heart attack a few years ago ilove aside from all the aging he's doing ok. He got stents put in his arteries which made a difference. Hope your friend's husband is ok.

Watching GN, god Robbie Williams is a twat.

Rhubarb01 · 30/09/2016 23:23

Sorry to hear about your friend's husband ilove hope he's ok.

Wouldn't it be nice if no one had to die in this series? Surely, there could be a resolution of the love triangle situation without killing one of them unless of course LP has no intention of returning to the role or it being suggested so that's final. I don't like the sense of doom and gloom -surely the death of one of them would just make Georgie feel even worse and create ten times more PTSD?

icemistOBE · 30/09/2016 23:23

Hope he's ok ilove must be so worrying for everyone
