Yes Musketeers. I was very late to that party, but Aramis still managed to lose his shirt a few times which made it all worthwhile

Ilovelblue · 27/09/2016 21:38

By the time we do the next watchalong on Friday, I think we might be heading up to thread XL!

Rhubarb01 · 27/09/2016 22:28

Well ilove I reckon that in our case XL has got to stand for something more than just 40 - Extra Loopy or Extra Lecherous spring to mind.

OP posts:
Ilovelblue · 27/09/2016 22:33

I think Extra Lecherous suits us well Rhubarb.

MaddieMoo82 · 27/09/2016 22:56

Na not lecherous. Extra loving more like Wink

Rhubarb01 · 27/09/2016 23:09

In that case mads I reckon 40 in Roman numerals should be XXXX

MaddieMoo82 · 27/09/2016 23:14

Yes rhu!!!

Nickel45 · 27/09/2016 23:38

I knew the labels in my clothes were nothing to do with the size!

kuiakaituhi · 28/09/2016 04:34

Just caught up on you watching The Night Manager rather too keenly Rhu. Get you sticky mitts off my man. You know I saw him first and I've only just managed to wrest him back from Tay-Tay. Hands off!!

Rhubarb01 · 28/09/2016 07:27

Oh...alright Kuia....

(By the way, have you found Episode 3 yet to watch or are you still waiting out in anticipation of what Elvis' excuse was?)

OP posts:
Ilovelblue · 28/09/2016 08:21

We'll stick with Elvis eh Rhu and whatever shreds of CJ we can get our hands on?

MaddieMoo82 · 28/09/2016 08:34

Haha ilove I don't think they'll be much of him left Grin

KeziaOAP · 28/09/2016 13:11

Got builders here replacing roof windows so between making tea, keeping two house cats from escaping have time to ponder re the Syria question.... didn't think uk had troops on the ground other than SAS, surely GL wouldn't be embedded with them, let alone five weeks would be too soon Confused

Rhubarb01 · 28/09/2016 13:56

I wasn't aware of any UK troops in Syria either Kezia. Obviously, there's so much dreadful news about that area at the moment but I thought 'our' only involvement was more long-range air support or intelligence and possibly special forces stuff they don't talk about. I'm not sure what CJ might be doing in Syria although it could be something fictional or maybe something humanitarian again or somethng made up enitirely.

OP posts:
Rhubarb01 · 28/09/2016 13:57

Just to make that point twice - 'fictional' and 'made up' usually mean the same thing Grin

Rhubarb01 · 28/09/2016 13:59

Yes ilove and mads I reckon the combats on CJ could be looking a bit tattered from all the grabbing hands!

KeziaOAP · 28/09/2016 14:33

Rhu the term poetic license comes to mind.....

Rhubarb01 · 28/09/2016 16:12

Is it wrong of me to hope that when Dr 'nice' but Bland (reminds me of 'Tim nice but dim') meets with CJ there will be some reason for CJ to share what it's like to have another half who works in dangerous situations - in other words a reason to talk about Molly? As much as I appreciate this is Georgie's story and she's got a lot to deal with, I still miss Molly with CJ in all this. CJ's been great support to GL and EH (putting aside too many 'ASAP's') - professional, understanding, caring and definitely more settled in himself and dolling out wise advice, let's not forget he blurred the lines a bit in the last series so he's learned the hard way - I just wish there was a bit of CJ and Molly to warm the cockles of the heart Sad

KeziaOAP · 28/09/2016 16:26

Me to Rhu at this minute can't even feel any excited anticipation for tonight's episode, unlike series 1 wishing the week away Sad

kuiakaituhi · 28/09/2016 16:30

Rhu didn't find Episode 3 till Saturday have posted Chapter 6 of CJ's diary Working on Chapter 7. Hopefully have it up later this morning.

By the way, everyone, that warning about keeping your hands off TH also extends to Lucifer, aka Tom Ellis!

Rhubarb01 · 28/09/2016 16:33

It's ok you can keep Tom Ellis kuia - he was lovely in 'Miranda' but I can't think of him any other way really!

OP posts:
Rhubarb01 · 28/09/2016 16:36

By the way Kuia - do you not sleep? Isn't it the wee small hours down under?

OP posts:
kazzaD66 · 28/09/2016 16:37

Couldn't agree more Rhu . Only thinking much the same thing a few days ago. Their chat would be an ideal time for CJ to talk about his and Molly's experiences, including his rehab and why he changed his mind about resigning his commission. Doubt we'll get any of that though, more's the pity, probably just a load of whining from the doctor.
Been looking at some of CJ's best bits as it were from S1 on YouTube this afternoon, plus a couple of my favourite CJ and Molly videos, just to remind myself how good they were together and to have a bit of a nostalgic wallow Grin

Rhubarb01 · 28/09/2016 16:50

Also - are we supposed to think that GL has seen and talked to the psychiatrist yet or would that happen when she gets back? Or can you actually bypass all that if you don't want to talk to anyone? I'm sure CJ telling her to fully unload is from his own experience. I reckon when he had dealt with all of that he decided he could stay in the army after all.

Now I've started speculating I've also wondered if any of the 'dodgy scenes' from the trailer for episode 4 are actually dream sequences. Presumably GL is going to be having distorted type flashbacks - ah well all will be revealed but I dont think 'All will be well in the world'

I think some weeks will have passed. BBC tweeted a Gif earlier but this is the gist of it
