Hi all. Back home again and to paraphrase my second favourite captain "all's well in ilove's world". I never intended going back to work anyway but even the consultant said not to bother. I am a bit sore. So it's either gentle pottering in the garden or maybe even a rewatch of a certain TV series. Mmmm might need to think about this. Perhaps do both.

You'll be relieved to know I've had no burning issues come to mind today I have however, been suffering from an ear worm of that damn song from OG. Do you think it's one of TG's favourites - thank God it wasn't 'Let it go'.

....apart from, if Jackson is the sort of or perhaps I should be more respectful given the fact that he is obviously multi-talented and call him the actual 'medic' on Elvis' team why did Georgie 'go off' on a mission with them in the prequel? I'm assuming that mission pre-dates the forming of the Spunky, Spanner, Jackson and Elvis Musketeers but surely they would have had someone else in that role? Ok, I know that there had to be a way for GL and EH to meet in extreme circumstances (I feel that quote from Speed coming on again!) but just wondering why?

I would still like to get straight in my nut (to coin a phrase) the timelines. S1 was Oct 2013 to Oct 2014, roughly. Obvs we are now Sept 2016 and the non-wedding was 2 years ago - so after the S1 tour but not too long after CJ'S rehab but, as has already been discussed, no sign of a limp on either leg at wedding. Also, if CJ was with Molly at that point, where was she or was it when she did her short 2nd tour?
I know these things shouldn't matter but they do Clearly got too much time on my hands. If I was on twitter, I'd tweet TG and ask him but I'm not, so I guess it will remain a mystery!!

I think that timeline sort of fits. In episode 3 they said that Abu/Jason had gone to Africa in April 2016 and in the trailer for episode 4 they say he returned to the UK on 28th August 2016. According to the young lad in the terrorist group he had been there 3 months. Assuming that it's set NOW that would mean that the humanitarian tour started probably around July 2016. Two years prior to that would have been after the return from Afghan. The key issue as you say is just how long did it take CJ to recover sufficiently to run across the square like that? Assuming he was injured in something like April - it doesn't sound very long.

We also don't know how Molly and Georgie are friends. Were they already friends before the wedding or friends because Elvis and CJ knew each other? I suppose it's possible that they met each other that way and with their jobs in common stayed in touch? Mind you, as you say, Molly went out to Afghanistan again didn't she.

See if you dig enough you can always find something to ponder about.

Thanks Rhu. I pottered in the garden for a little while as it was sunny but have also watched episodes 2 and 3 through (just a little fast forwarding over the gory bits in episode 2).

I have a question. When we saw "the boys" swaggering in after the helicopter landed and they were carrying bags and rifles, there was no sign of a guitar yet in the beach hotel scenes when Elvis gets to choose the first song (how predictable was that), one of his team has a guitar. Maybe these guys don't travel as light as we expect! I'm still struggling to remember which is Spunky and which is Spanner. I'm sure pixie is going to shout at me for this! So where did the guitar come from?
