Morning! Not until Wednesday Helen. The ankle is recovering well, thanks. He's gone to golf today thank God. He drives me mad when he's at home, I can't get on with wenching anything.

I haven't read the books, but the first one is sitting on my shelf as I speak, waiting for me to get a reasonable amount of time to start it.

I shall miss most of the Olympics, which is a shame. I promised myself I would avoid the last ones like the plague, but after we won our first gold I was hooked. Hopefully we'll be able to catch up in the evenings.

If there is one weekend in my life I could go back & do again it would be that one. I think I slept for about 4 hours from Thursday to Sunday but God, it was worth it. We were sooooo amazingly lucky & have such stories to tell...but up til now we've been NDA'ed up to our eyeballs & now we just can't cope with the fallout on Twitter - so they will remain forever in our vadges memories. Safe to say we did the Tav proud & not one of those boys disappointed except Howie
And just to clarify - Santi was there although perhaps not in the way we'd have chosen. But Team A had already won him at the Apple event before the Prague visit anyway...

Oh what a gorgeous baby badders. I was just on the ugly babies thread so have read about a lot of babies resembling Gollum, gnomes and Ed Balls. But that little one is so genuinely beautiful.

I saw that thread mouse - made me smile. I always used to say DS looked like the Mekon as a baby

Ds1 looked like a plucked chicken, God love him
Jaundiced, 4.5lbs and covered in heat rash
Ds2 was gorgeous...the midwife said he was the most beautiful baby she has ever delivered and all the other staff came in at some point to coo over him
he did look like he had a badly fitted toupe though...soooo much hair!

My boys are both lovely. Quite unusual looking for NI. Lots of dark hair and huge dark eyes. But newborn DS2 resembled a mole, wrinkly and shrivelled looking with the most enormous shovel hands. The midwives were cooing over him and I was thinking "are you sure?"
