Morning. Just caught up with the thread. Helen, thanks for asking, DH's ankle is still swollen, but he's hobbling walking around quite well now. He'd better be alright in 10 days' time when we're doing a repeat of last year's holiday. Well, not exactly a repeat.

I agree, the continuity between seasons 2 and 3 seems to be sadly lacking, particularly where Athos is concerned. He seems to be a completely different person.

Poor little Dolphin. His daddy dies, he's snatched away from his mummy by someone he doesn't know, dragged around from pillar to post, and without even a teddy. I do hope that the actor's real mummy was close by, he didn't look too happy in some of those scenes.

Milady is in Ep 10, well according to IMDb anyway. I may be wrong, but I somehow don't think she'll have another scene with Athos, as per the interview that Helen referred to. And, no she didn't seem to think it had all slipped away. She seemed pretty heartbroken to me.

Gutted about Treville, but he went down fighting like the hero he is. Also poor Kingy, but I think we were prepared for that.

Did we know that last night's episode was written by Dusty Hughes (Mr. JessPope)?

Goodness knows what they'll do with the finale.

Stunt Reel

Morning Apricot Am avoiding the stunt reel until the end of the series - I saw it last week (sorry - thought it had already been posted here) and the first thing I saw was the fight with Pothos bouncing Marcheaux's head off the table from last night's episode. Which of course I hadn't seen. So I just stopped it and will wait until Monday.

Morning all. Thought it was a great episode although i agree poor Dolphin.

Have forgotten to say so far that of course Aramis was very faf. And he managed a shouty moment in the church which was nice, although misdirected at poor Connie who was only doing her best.

Marcheaux lurking at the tavern to hear Sylvie blunder in and gave the game away was quite funny.

The look he gave Gaston was great, wasn't it?

But theniI suppose he has most reason of all to hate Gaston.

I might watch the last ep tonight, it's a bit late in the evening for me tomorrow.

I dno't think that their characters have changed that much really, given that they've been four years at the front line between series. I'd have thought that would be enough to change anyone's character slightly. I was more surprised by the change in Aramis from "We're soldiers, we follow our orders, wherever they may lead" to "I have a problem with obedience" Porthos is just grouchier, Dog is all grown up and Athos has loosened up a bit - not clinging to the wreckage any more iyswim?

Anyway, I am getting cbf from DH and need to get going.

Omg Grimaud is so short. I knew he was short but I didn't realise how short. When he's giving Marcheaux what for and the slimy prick is towering over him when they're in shot together. But he did look nice without the hood of distraction and the hair looked like it had had a bit of a wash.

Not surprised at Lorraine carking it. He seemed too reasonable to be allowed to live. Poor Grim he's now left with the combined fuckwittery of Gaston and Marcheaux (slimy and slimier)

Not quite. I have cases and I've got a few clothes out and put all the sun cream in a bag.

I have discovered DS1 only has two pairs of shorts that fit. DH as punishment is taking him shopping tomorrow.

I shall tell myself to have the bulk of it done tomorrow and watching TM and enjoying all the AraFaf is my reward.

Unless you have to leave at the crack of dawn tomorrow letus you have plenty of time to finish packing. I'm a real last minute packer though so you may not want to listen to me though
