Ok, so who is the baby daddy?

I too thought that was very detailed for a 10 weeks scan but having had my son pre-scans I thought it was just my ignorance - I would also have expected her to be looking a bit pregnant at this stage as she is as skinny as a rake still - but what do I know

Also she's had no pregnancy symptoms apart from one bout of morning sickness when she was about 2 days pregnant!

What the fuck is Nick's game? You can't chase after someone on a bus, tell them you've always loved them, and then start having doubts the next morning after you get your leg over.

It will all go pear-shaped when Nick finds out it's Steve. She should have told him at the start, poor Leanne, no luck with men. Wasn't she with horrid Bradley Walsh years ago?

And she lied that it was a one night stand with an unknown and
she had not told the real father (which would have worked if it really was an unknown and she kept quiet about it) so of course the truth will out (as several people know on the Street). Nick so hates anyone lying - which is why he left Carla because she LIED to him.

Exactly Nugget. Jeez that story annoys me too much to watch.

Eddie mair. I didnt have any pregnancy symptoms with either of mine. Despite the test I found it hard to believe I was pregnant with my first til I had the 12 week scan.

I am betting they are going to announce it as Nick's baby and Steve will NOT be pleased!

Haven't watched since before Kylie died but have all the episodes on series link, should I restart?

Hyacinth - they have and he wasn't. But then he was but Leanne wasn't. It's a tangled web they're weaving!

Jbck - watch it on high speed! You could squeeze those episodes in and condense to about half hours actual watching just to pick up the storylines.

It's the actual decision to start watching again Im struggling with, I havent really missed it at all and is it worth it, I fear not and Im a lifelong Corrie watcher.

The only bit of excitement so far by the sounds of it is Sharif and Id have shouted at the telly about that. He Just wouldn't!

I think Leanne should tell Steve she had the scan and her dates are all wrong and it couldn't be his. Steve is not bright enough to work it out.

Jbck - I wouldn't bother watching the missed episodes. If you want to watch just start watching again from where we are now. You haven't missed much.

So I've been dipping in and out lately, with a lot of fast forwarding going on.

I suppose when Peter is back the same old crap will happen with him, Leanne and Nick, she'll fall back in love with Peter, then she'll dump him again for Nick, Peter will hit the bottle, Simon will get violent again and shove Leanne down the stairs, she'll be fine so will the baby, then they will all agree to just get on until the baby needs some medical help and they will have to get Steve involved, Leanne will be left on her own and Tracey will smirk from around every corner where she seems to spend a lot of time just lurking.......

Or maybe, just maybe the writers and producers could shock us and not do any of that, I live in hope

Peter's coming back?

Oh good! Anyone is better than The Worst Actor in the World aka bloke who plays Nick.

Prediction........ the baby will get ill and need bone-marrow or similar, and the only suitable donor will be........his biological father!!

The blood type/bone marrow thing has been done so many times on tv. I hope they produce a more original reveal than that.

I've always wondered why Nick has a totally different accent from his family and everyone else on the street. I'm not northern (or English) so don't notice the nuances that others do with say David's accent but why does Nick sound 'posh'?

And Adam Rickett did too as far as I remember.

I always thought it was David with a different accent to everyone else in the family.

Oh David does too, but Nick seems more 'well spoken' than the rest.

Am I going mad or did Nick and Leanne really say there was no way they could call the baby Nicholas, they were acting like they never heard the name before, as if it was such an awful name...............or have they got so far removed from trying to make the scenes interesting that they have completely forgotten that it's Nicks name

Liz is annoying me, and why oh why do her and Steve shout all over the pub about the baby, they are trying to keep it a secret yet never shut up shouting about it.

The writers have made Liz much more annoying since Leanne's pregnancy. As ellen says, speaking loudly in places where they could easily be overheard is ridiculous, as was Liz saying "I want two grandchildren", Steve correcting her and saying "You will have two grandchildren" and then Liz petulantly "Well I want three !" - no wonder Nick is having second thoughts now he knows who has fathered the baby. Run, Nick, run!
