Isn't she supposed to be coming back to the street?
I assumed this storyline was leading to Toyah's return.

Yes, there was mention of Toyah returning. It would be interesting to see how that would work out. She was a very good character in the past.
I still think deadwood such as Sinead (and too many others to list) should be cleared out.

Can't believe they had the chance to clear out so many in that bloody mini bus crash and bottled it!

Maria said 'it'd be great for Liam to have more little cousins'. What little cousins does he have? Ryan is about 25!

As for Fiz and Sinead I wouldn't care if they were never seen again. I used to like Fiz when she was with that schoolteacher bloke but that was some time ago and she appears to have gone downhill since.

Has anybody else noticed that most females on Corrie are needy of a boyfriend - can't they just have one or two who are happy being single free and independent? None of them, bar perhaps Tracey, can last 5 minutes without some boyfriend in tow.

That is actually true about the boyfriends... and most of them ended up with Jason

Another disaster? I hope so. I hope they don't bottle it again though and not kill off anyone. The last couple have been absolute farces.

I saw on the non-spoiler thread that the new producer has renewed Maria's contract, so I think our hopes for some decent storylines and axing of the dead wood are not going to materialise.

Also what's with Nick falling back in love with Leanne about 30 seconds after Carla left? I'd run a mile.

Did leanne and Nick absolutely hate each other last year/18 months ago?

Peter Barlow is returning soon along with other Barlow offspring so maybe they are trying to establish roots back to the better storylines of the past.
Just wish they could get rid of having pregnant female characters littering the street - all of whom seem to get pregnant and announce to all and sundry within a few weeks without seeming to try

Leanne had morning sickness for one morning when she'd been pregnant for about a day and a half. Nothing since then!

I'm hoping that the return of Chris Gascogne and whoever has been picked to play his character's half-brother will give the show a boost. Toyah's presence should be beneficial too (I liked her and Leanne as siblings, and she's a good actress).
